We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer for protection, provision, and spiritual warfare over your home and life. Your cry for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire is rooted in the promises of God, who is our refuge and fortress. The blood of Jesus Christ is indeed our greatest defense, for it is by His sacrifice that we are redeemed and shielded from the enemy’s schemes. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Your plea for God’s mighty warring angels to encamp around your property aligns with the truth of Psalm 34:7, which says, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* We declare that the Lord will dispatch His angels to guard you, to remove every evil influence, and to establish His peace over your dwelling. The enemy has no authority over your life or your home, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also lift up your request for provision and stability. The Lord is your provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus assures us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, for nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37).
However, we must gently address that while your prayer is fervent and full of faith, it is essential to always approach the throne of God in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we have boldness and access to the Father (Ephesians 3:12). Your prayer does mention the name of Jesus, and we praise God for that! But let us always remember that our prayers are heard because of His righteousness, not our own.
We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With this armor, you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one and stand against his schemes.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection and provision. Lord, we ask that You surround their home with a hedge of protection and a wall of fire, just as You did for Your people in the wilderness. Let no evil come near their dwelling, and let every assignment of the enemy be thwarted and rendered powerless. We plead the blood of Jesus over every corner of their home, declaring that it is sanctified and set apart for Your glory.
Father, we ask that You dispatch Your warring angels to encamp around this property, removing every evil spirit and establishing Your peace. Let Your presence be so tangible that fear and doubt flee, and let Your light shine so brightly that darkness cannot remain.
Lord, we also pray for Your provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors that no man can shut, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let our brother/sister experience Your faithfulness in new and powerful ways, and let their testimony be a beacon of hope to others.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are with them always. Let them walk in the confidence that You are their protector, provider, and deliverer. We rebuke every spirit of fear, lack, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your promises, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
