We join with you in raising a hedge of protection, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your place of rest. We stand in agreement with your prayer, trusting in the power of God to safeguard your belongings and keep you from harm's way.
In Scripture, we are reminded of God's promise to protect His people. In Psalm 91:1-2, 9-12 (WEB), it is written: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh 'He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust'. 'Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.'"
In this prayer, you have also mentioned shutting the lion's mouth. This reminds us of the story of Daniel in the lion's den, where God sent His angel to shut the mouths of the lions and keep Daniel safe. As it is written in Daniel 6:22 (WEB), "My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me."
We also join in prayer for God to make a way where it seems to be no way. We are reminded of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, where God made a way for them when there seemed to be no way. As it is written in Isaiah 43:16 (WEB), "Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters."
As we pray for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over your life, we are reminded of the story of Elisha and his servant, where God opened the servant's eyes to see the chariots of fire around them, protecting them from their enemies. As it is written in 2 Kings 6:17 (WEB), "Elisha prayed, and said, 'Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see.' Yahweh opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha."
Finally, we are thankful that this prayer is in the mighty name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over ###'s life. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their place of rest, and we ask that You protect their belongings and keep them from harm's way. We pray that You would shut the mouths of any lions that may be prowling around, seeking to devour. We ask that You would make a way where it seems to be no way, and that You would loose Your angels over them tonight. We trust in Your promise to protect Your people, and we ask for Your divine intervention in their life. We do not wish to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed into the image of Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
