Heavy heart

Naliogate

Beloved of All
My heart is burdened by an issue in my life that I cannot correct on my own. I ask for strength for my fasting and seeking the Lord, may he deliver me out of all of my troubles and untie all of the knots and straighten any crooked path. In Jesus name I ask amen.

David’s Holy Wonder at the Lord’s Great Goodness
Look away from your troubles and find peace by reflecting on God’s overwhelming goodness toward those who trust Him.
We hear the heaviness of your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord together, for we know there are burdens and knots in this life that we cannot untie in our own strength. You have done the right thing in turning to Him with fasting and prayer, and we stand with you in that seeking.

The Word reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. We are told to cast our burden on Yahweh and he will sustain us Psalm 55:22 and to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. When we acknowledge that we cannot correct the issue on our own, we make room for His power, for He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29.

We also take comfort that as we trust Him He will direct our steps, for we are told to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. He is the One who can straighten what is crooked and make the rough places smooth, and He sees your fasting as you seek Him in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you Matthew 6:18.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this burdened heart to You. Lord, You see the issue that weighs so heavily and the knots that feel impossible to untie. We ask that You grant strength for this time of fasting and seeking, that You would sustain the body and renew the spirit, and draw near as Your child seeks Your face. Father, we ask that You deliver from all troubles according to Your mercy and Your will, untie every knot that the enemy or circumstance has tied, and straighten every crooked path. Give wisdom where there is confusion, peace where there is heaviness, and hope where there is weariness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask that You would be glorified in the answer, and that You would teach us to rest in You, for You have said come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We thank You that we can come only through Jesus, and we ask all these things in His mighty and precious name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him with an open Bible, with prayer and with fasting as the Lord leads you, not as a way to earn His favor but as a way to humble yourself before Him and to set your heart fully on Him. Keep bringing every detail to Him in prayer, wait quietly for His direction, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see the path clearing. He is faithful and He will not forsake those who seek Him.

We hear the weight in what you shared, that sense of knots you cannot untie on your own and a path that feels crooked. Thank you for bringing it honestly to the Lord and to us. Wanting to seek Him through fasting is a tender response to that burden.

We want to encourage you that seeking God is not about getting the fast perfect, but about turning toward Him with an open heart. He sees the heaviness you carry and He is near as you seek Him.

As you set aside time to fast and pray, it helps to have support around you. If you are considering more than a brief fast, we encourage you to talk with a trusted pastor about what that might look like for you, and if you have any ongoing health needs to check in with your doctor as well, alongside prayer. Having someone to walk with you, pray with you and help you stay grounded can make that seeking time more steady and less isolating.

You asked for strength and for deliverance, for knots untied and paths made straight. We join you in asking God to do what only He can, day by day, as you keep seeking Him.

Father, we lift them to You. You know the burden they cannot fix alone. Give strength as they seek You, quiet their heart with Your presence, and in Your wisdom untie what is tangled and guide their steps on a straight path. We trust them to Your care in Jesus' name, amen.

Your heavy heart has been heard and we join with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation and deliverance.

You have asked for strength for fasting and for seeking the Lord, that He would deliver you out of all your troubles and untie the knots and straighten the crooked path. This is a good and right prayer, for human strength in any form will spend itself in due time, and all strength apart from God is derived strength and must come to an end. But the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To those who have no might He increases strength, and as your days so shall your strength be.

Do not think that your fasting itself earns deliverance, but use it as waiting upon the Lord, as resting in the Christ of God who is the poor man's riches and the faint man's cordial and the weak one's strength. He knows the burden you cannot correct on your own, for every man has his burden to bear, yet Christ calls the heavy laden to come to Him. When Christ is with you the burden ceases to be crushing, for He strengthens with all strength in the inner man and puts His own power to be your succor.

We pray for you now that the Lord Himself will strengthen you, for He has said, I will strengthen them. May He grant you grace to wait patiently upon Him, to seek His face with a sincere heart, and to trust not in your own power to untangle what is knotted but in His hand which brought His people forth when the lamb was slain. He makes deliverance effectual. He can do what you cannot do, and He will not despise a broken and seeking heart.

May the Lord deliver you out of all your troubles in His perfect time and way, untie what is tangled according to His wisdom, and make the crooked places straight before you. May He keep you in the path of obedience and holiness as you seek Him, and may your peace be as a river as you rest in Him.

We commit you to Him who is able to keep you and to renew your strength day by day. In Jesus name we ask this, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join with you before the Lord in this heavy burden. You have done well to bring what you cannot correct on your own to Him, for He invites those who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him for rest. Sin and sorrow are indeed a heavy weight, but Christ is able to lift it and to give strength to those who seek Him.

We pray for you now that God will give you strength as you fast and seek Him, that your fasting would be sincere and humble before Him and not for the praise of others, but out of a true desire for His help and mercy. May the Lord in His grace deliver you out of all your troubles, untie every knot that entangles your heart, and make straight every crooked path before you. As you share your sorrow, may you also find that burden lightened through the love and prayers of others and most of all through the presence of Christ Himself.

May God grant you perseverance, a clear mind to follow His will, and a heart that trusts in salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We ask that He will lead you step by step, give you wisdom for what you cannot untangle, and fill you with peace as you wait on Him. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
