Heavy heart

Beloved of All
Hello, I’m praying because I had to leave abusive people. They would not respect my boundaries and would insult, mock and yell at me. My nervous system went into overdrive because of their FULL on loud FURY because I wouldn’t comply with their demands. These people claimed to love me so much but participated in hurting me. I tried to reason with them and their behavior worsened. I ask God to help me to forgive them but reconnection would be dangerous. I feel alone and wonder if the Lord will send me new godly people. What if there’s an emergency? I need people that I can trust. I am also very concerned about my job loss and trying to keep up with bills. Today I unexpectedly received a small benefit which I partially used to buy much needed personal items. The rest will go towards the utility bills. I’m heartbroken and feel like no one is on my side. My job search has yielded poor results and I’m on the verge of giving up. Tears are flowing as I write this. I have mixed emotions. Please pray for me.

We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we want you to know that your tears are seen by the Lord. The abuse you endured—being mocked, yelled at, and disrespected—is not love, no matter what those people claimed. True love, as Scripture tells us, is patient, kind, and does not seek its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). What you experienced was a distortion of love, and it is right to protect yourself from further harm. The Lord does not call you to endure abuse in the name of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a process of releasing bitterness to God, but it does not mean reconciling with those who continue to wound you. Jesus Himself taught us to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16), and your decision to leave was an act of wisdom and self-preservation.

We rebuke the lies that tell you no one is on your side. The Lord is your defender, your refuge, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has not abandoned you, even when it feels like the world has. You are not alone, though the loneliness may feel overwhelming right now. The Lord promises to set the solitary in families (Psalm 68:6) and to surround you with people who will reflect His love and kindness. We pray that He will bring godly, trustworthy people into your life—those who will stand with you, encourage you, and walk alongside you in faith. Until then, lean on Him as your closest friend, for He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Your financial struggles and job loss are heavy burdens, and we lift them to the Lord with you. He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to provide for His children. The small benefit you received was not a coincidence—it was the Lord’s provision, a reminder that He sees you and cares for your needs. We pray that He will open doors for employment that align with His purpose for you, providing not just a job, but work that brings dignity and stability. Until then, trust in His faithfulness, for He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

We also want to gently remind you that your prayers are heard because of the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, who bore your sorrows and carried your griefs (Isaiah 53:4). He is the one who can heal your heart and give you hope for the future.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who has endured so much pain and betrayal. Lord, You see the tears she has shed, the fear she has carried, and the loneliness that weighs on her spirit. We ask that You would draw near to her, wrapping her in Your peace and comfort. Heal the wounds left by those who claimed to love her but instead brought harm. Give her the strength to forgive, not for their sake, but for her own freedom, and protect her from any further danger.

Father, we pray for Your provision in her life. Open doors of opportunity for employment that will meet her needs and restore her sense of purpose. Provide for her bills, her daily bread, and every practical need, reminding her that You are her provider. Surround her with godly community—people who will love her as You love her, who will speak truth and encouragement into her life. Help her to trust in Your timing, even when the wait feels unbearable.

Lord, we ask that You would fill her with hope. Remind her that she is not forgotten, that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith when doubt creeps in, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. May she know that You are her refuge, her strength, and her ever-present help.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the one who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Amen.

You are not giving up—you are pressing forward, one step at a time, and that takes courage. The Lord is with you in this season, and He will not waste your pain. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and know that brighter days are ahead.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heavy heart before the Lord these past days. It grieves us to picture the fear and pain you endured—how the ones who claimed love became a storm of fury when you stood firm in your boundaries. Father, we’ve asked You again and again to wrap Your peace around her like a shield, to quiet the memories that still feel so loud, and to remind her that she is never alone, even when the silence feels overwhelming.

We’ve prayed specifically for healing in her nervous system, asking You to restore what was shaken and to steady her in ways only You can. Lord, we’ve also lifted up the weight of forgiveness—how hard it must be to release those who hurt her, yet how freeing it will be when she feels Your grace doing the work in her heart. Keep her safe, we’ve begged You, and guard her from any path that would lead back into harm.

We’ve also stood in the gap for her daily needs, thanking You for the unexpected provision that came just in time. Father, multiply that gift as only You can, and open doors for steady work that honors her and meets her needs. We’ve asked You to surround her with godly people—friends who will stand with her, encourage her, and remind her of Your faithfulness. Give her wisdom to recognize them when they come, and patience to wait for Your timing.

And Lord, when the tears come and the doubt whispers that no one is on her side, we’ve prayed that she would feel the weight of our prayers lifting her up, and more importantly, that she would sense Your nearness in the quiet moments. You see her, You love her, and You are working even when she can’t see it.

If You’ve answered any of these prayers—if peace has settled in, if provision has come, if a door to community or work has opened—we’d love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. But if the weight still feels heavy, we’re not walking away. Post your request again, and we’ll keep standing with you, believing that God is moving in ways we can’t yet see. May He fill you with His hope and remind you of His promises as you continue to seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ Name we pray.

I also wanted to add that I also turned on the unexpected benefit. Even though I’m Unemployed I’ve been tithing on my no weekly benefit I receive and noticed I have money remaining even after I pay my utility bills. I praise the Lord in Jesus name for that.
