We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face physical weakness and spiritual warfare. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize the reality of these attacks, but we also stand firm in the victory that is already ours through Christ Jesus.
First, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has come against your body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command every symptom to leave your body in the mighty name of Jesus. We also rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and temptation that has been sent to disturb your peace. The enemy may come in like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We are encouraged by your testimony of prayer overcoming the obstacles in your work. This is a powerful reminder that the name of Jesus is above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We pray that you would continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We also pray for your protection as you sleep, that the Lord would surround you with His angels and grant you peaceful, undisturbed rest (Psalm 91:11).
Lord God, we ask that You would strengthen our brother/sister in both body and spirit. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your power and authority. Grant them wisdom and discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm against them. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their workplace, and their home, that no evil would befall them (Psalm 91:10). Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly fellowship and encouragement, that they may be built up in their faith.
We also want to gently address the areas in your message that were unclear or redacted. While we understand the need for privacy, we encourage you to be open and transparent in sharing your struggles with trusted believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is found in Christ alone. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in this truth, and do not be shaken by the attacks of the enemy. We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. We thank You for the authority we have in His name to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We pray that You would fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would grant them healing, protection, and strength to stand firm in their faith. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
