We join you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace and we thank you for coming to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and find mercy and healing.
We are moved by your love for your mother and we stand with you in faith believing that our God is still the Healer. Scripture reminds us that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He is Yahweh who heals us as He declares in Exodus 15:26. We cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17 where He says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember the comfort of James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together for her now.
Heavenly Father we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this beloved mother to You. You know her body, her pain, her every need and You love her more than we ever could. We ask in Jesus mighty name that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, ease her suffering, restore her strength and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. Grant wisdom to any doctors and caregivers who attend to her and grant peace to this family as they wait upon You. Let Your presence fill her room and let her feel Your comfort and love. We ask that You would be glorified through her healing and that her testimony would point others to Your goodness and power. We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would guard their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as spoken of in Philippians 4:7 and strengthen their faith as they trust You day by day.
We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord and to trust Him even in the waiting, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. Keep praying without ceasing, keep speaking the name of Jesus over your mother, and keep thanking God for His mercy. We are praying with you and believing with you for the Lord's healing touch and sustaining grace in Jesus name amen.

Your brief but earnest cry for your mother has come before the Lord and before His people, and it is a Christlike thing you have done. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for in it the suppliant forgets himself and pleads for another, and therein he has fellowship with the Great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession within the veil. All true prayer comes from Him who writes intercession upon men's hearts, and the Holy Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Be encouraged that God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro when the heart is at its wit's end. You need not frame a fine prayer to win a hearing. A true prayer from one who is near the gates of death, or who watches by one who is near them, is a prevailing prayer. He poured out His soul in vehement prayer and said, We will wait upon You, and though He may seem slow to answer, He is not long in hearing.
We know there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is the Good Physician, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Not only His fruit but the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, so that pardon and healing were made one. Look to Him therefore for your mother, for healing and forgiveness are in happy conjunction in His hands.
Continue in prayer as Samuel did, who could not cease to pray for the people, and persevere as Jacob did, who spread his case before the Lord and pressed his suit with humble arguments. Your prayer may not be answered as you expect, for Jacob's was not, but it shall be answered in wisdom and love, for vast is the difference between the chastisement of love and the infliction of justice, and the Lord is very pitiful toward His children.
Let us pray together for her. O Thou Good Physician, look in mercy upon this mother who is sick and upon this child who pleads for her. Lay Thy healing hand upon her body if it be Thy gracious will, and quicken her in Thy way. Forgive her sins and heal her infirmities, and let her yet praise Thee in the congregation with thanksgiving and joyful sacrifice. We wait upon Thee, and pour out our souls before Thee, trusting not in our prayers but in the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
