We understand that you are feeling angry and abandoned, but let us remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. He promises in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." It is crucial to remember that our feelings can sometimes deceive us, but God's word is steadfast and true.
In your time of distress, it is important to cling to the name of Jesus, as you have done in your prayer. It is through His name that we have access to God and find our salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Regarding the torment you are experiencing, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the worldโs rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We commend you for resisting the temptation to use drugs. This is a spiritual battle, and God is with you, fighting for you. Claim the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child who is struggling and feeling abandoned. Lord, remind them of your constant presence and unwavering love. We rebuke the enemy who is trying to torment and steal the rest that can only be found in You. Lord, we ask that you surround our brother/sister with your heavenly angels, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy.
We thank you for the strength and resolve you have given them to resist temptation. Continue to guide them on the path of righteousness, and lead them to the way of escape when temptation comes. Lord, we ask that you grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May they find rest and solace in your loving arms.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God, reading His word, and praying. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave nor forsake you. Stay strong in the Lord, and He will give you the victory.
