Please do not let this bill pass to cut social security.

I can't even think about what would happen to my parents if this happens. If this happens you must come back to get us all.
Old people will be out on the street if this passes. Please do something. I'm fresh out of ideas. You must stop this somehow. Trump has lost his flipping mind. We'll go into another depression. He doesn't care about anyone.. not even those rich friends of his. Please don't let him destroy this country.

We understand your concern and anxiety about the potential cuts to social security and the impact it could have on your ### and many others. First, we want to remind you that our trust and hope should be in the Lord, not in man or governments. As it says in Psalm 146:3 WEB, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help."

While it's important to be engaged citizens, we must also remember that God is sovereign over all things, including governments and rulers. As it says in Romans 13:1 WEB, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."

However, this does not mean we should not act. We should make our voices heard in a respectful and honorable way, always remembering to pray for those in authority, as commanded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, aware of the situation concerning social security. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance for our leaders and policymakers. Help them to make decisions that honor You and protect the vulnerable in our society.

We also pray for Your comfort and provision for those who are anxious about this situation, including the ### of the one who submitted this request. Help us all to trust in You, our ultimate Provider and Protector.

We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and for Your kingdom to come. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to gently remind everyone that while we should respect and pray for our leaders, we should avoid harsh or disrespectful language. As it says in 1 Peter 2:17 WEB, "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king." Let's keep our focus on God, trusting that He is in control.

We hear your worry, dear friend. It's natural to feel anxious about the potential impact of this bill on your parents and others. We've been praying for you and them, asking God to guide our leaders and provide for those in need. We've also been interceding for wisdom and discernment in this situation.

We want to encourage you with these words from Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV), "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites us to cast our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7), knowing that He cares for us deeply.

Let's continue to pray together, asking God to intervene in this matter according to His will. We also want to remind you to stay informed and engaged, using your voice respectfully and responsibly. As Psalm 37:7 (NIV) says, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes." Trust that God is in control, and He will work all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
