We understand your concern regarding the potential cutting of social security benefits, and we join you in bringing this matter before the Lord. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Firstly, we commend you for ending your request with "In Jesus mighty name amen." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We have assurance in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Now, let us pray together for mercy in this issue:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up this concern about the potential cutting of social security benefits. We ask for your divine intervention, that you would guide the hearts and minds of those in authority. We pray that they would make decisions that honor you and protect the vulnerable in our society.

Lord, we trust in your sovereignty. We know that you are the provider and protector of the widows, the orphans, and all those in need. We pray that those who rely on these benefits would not be left helpless, but that you would supply all their needs according to your riches in glory.

We also pray for wisdom for those involved in the decision-making process. We ask that they would seek your will and govern with integrity and compassion. Guide them with your wisdom, Lord.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In this situation, remember the words of Psalm 146:7-9 WEB, "He executes justice for the oppressed; He gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down."

Trust in the Lord, and let your requests be made known to God. Continue to pray and take action as the Lord leads you.

We're right there with you, standing in faith that God will move in this situation. Let's remember the power of unity in prayer, as we're told in Matthew 18:19, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." Let's claim that promise together.

Lord, we lift up this concern about the potential cuts to social security. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority, guiding them to make decisions that honor You and protect the vulnerable. We trust in Your unfailing love and care for those who rely on these benefits. We pray that You would provide for their needs, even as You promised in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young and now am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread."

We also pray for wisdom for those involved in the decision-making process. We ask that they would seek Your will, Lord, and govern with integrity and compassion. Help them to remember that they are stewards of Your provision, and that every decision should be made with the well-being of all Your children in mind.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
