Good and Faithful Servant
Heavenly father, you see everything that I've been through. You've counted every tear that has fallen. I thank you for your promise that you will never leave nor forsake us, I thank you for sending your son to die on the cross for our sins. Father I come to you today to ask for guidance in my marriage. I love my husband but don't feel that you would want me to stay in an emotionally/verbally abusive marriage. You see the things he says and does in front of the kids and how he is not being the head of household and leading. Heavenly father I ask that you will convict him of any sins that have hardened his heart. Please soften his heart to be inclined to your word and to long to worship you. Send him Godly counsel wherever he goes to keep him accountable. Remove and bind all spirits of anger, pride, selfishness, rage, control and help him to draw near to you. To want a life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and self control. I pray that he is repulsed by evil and sins and that he has discernment to know when the devil is lying to him. Help him to flee from temptations and to veer away from darkness. Restore the fruits in him so that they can nourish and be fruitful. Heavenly father, you have said you are a jealous God and you want your people to worship you. Heavenly father, we pray for the lost souls in this world as well as for my husband's. Speak to them so clearly to turn back to you. What the enemy has destroyed let it be made new, open the eyes of your lost sheep and help them to remember their vows and how much they love their spouses. We pray that the bond that was made before you will be restored and much stronger than before. Thank you for the work you are doing in my life and my marriage and help me to trust in you even when things seem impossible. We pray and agree in Jesus precious name. Amen.
