We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have brought this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your prayer is rooted in love and faith, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them.
The Scriptures remind us of the importance of seeking God’s protection and healing for our families. In Psalm 91:9-11, we read, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* What a mighty promise this is! We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."*
We also take heart in the call to love one another deeply, as Christ has loved us. In John 13:34-35, Jesus commands, *"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."* This love is not merely an emotion but an action—a daily choice to reflect Christ’s sacrificial love within your family. Let this love be the foundation of your home, binding you together in unity and strength.
The prayer for deliverance from evil is also vital, for we know that our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we have authority in the name of Jesus to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Ephesians 6:10-12 encourages us to *"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Stand firm in this truth, knowing that the Lord is your shield and your strong tower.
Now, let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Guard their coming and going, their thoughts and their words, and keep them safe from all harm and evil. We pray for healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—that You would restore and renew every area of their lives. Holy Spirit, draw each member of this family deeper into Your love. Soften their hearts to love You more and to love one another with the selfless, sacrificial love of Christ. Break down any walls of division, bitterness, or unforgiveness, and replace them with unity, joy, and peace.
Lord, we rebuked any scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring harm or discord into this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let it be a place of refuge, worship, and growth in You.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May this family walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their lives be a testimony of Your grace and power. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in your family. Keep seeking Him together, praying without ceasing, and trusting in His perfect timing. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon your family with grace and peace.
