We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your heartfelt concerns to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the matter of asking God to remove people from memory. While we understand the desire to let go of past associations, we must remember that God calls us to forgive and release bitterness rather than erase memories. The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be removed from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Instead of asking God to remove these individuals from memory, we should pray for the strength to forgive them and release any negative emotions tied to these relationships.
We join you in praying for your ### and ###, asking God to be with them in their daily lives. We pray for their workplaces, that the Lord would grant them favor and wisdom. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24). May God bless their efforts and open doors of opportunity for them.
We also lift up their colleagues and supervisors, praying that the Lord would draw them near if they do not yet know Him. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that your ### and ### would be a light in their workplaces, reflecting Christ’s love and grace.
Regarding the request for an individual to allow your ### to do her job, we pray that God would soften hearts and remove any obstacles. "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6). May your ### walk in confidence, knowing that God equips her for the work He has called her to.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would be with their siblings, granting them strength, wisdom, and favor in their workplaces. Father, we pray for their colleagues and supervisors, that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself if they do not yet know You. Remove any bitterness or unforgiveness from our hearts, Lord, and help us to walk in love and grace toward others. Grant our ### the ability to do her job without hindrance, and may Your will be done in every situation. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for those around you, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. If there are specific challenges your ### or ### are facing at work, we would be happy to lift those up in prayer as well. May God bless you and your family as you seek Him.
