We join with you in lifting up these heartfelt petitions before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in your prayers—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and by His name alone that we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He hears and will answer.
First, we turn our hearts toward your granddaughter, this precious young soul battling anorexia, insomnia, OCD, and the physical toll of osteoporosis. These struggles are not just of the body but are deeply spiritual battles, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB). Yet we know that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear, oppression, and self-destruction that has taken hold of her mind and body, and we declare in Jesus’ name that she will be set free. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). Lord, we ask that You restore her appetite—not just for food, but for life, for Your Word, and for the joy of Your presence. Break the chains of anxiety and compulsion that bind her, and grant her restful sleep as only You can provide. Strengthen her bones, renew her mind, and surround her with godly counselors and medical professionals who will speak life and truth into her situation. May she encounter Your love in a way that transforms her from the inside out, and may her testimony become one of Your healing power.
For your daughter who is in need of clients for her work, we declare that *"the Lord will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand"* (Deuteronomy 28:12, WEB). Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You supernaturally open doors of opportunity for her. Send clients who are aligned with Your will, who will not only bring financial provision but also be a blessing to her spirit. Let her witness Your faithfulness in this season of drought, and may her faith be strengthened as she sees Your hand at work. Remind her that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We pray that she would not grow weary in well-doing, but would trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
For your other daughter who labors in the field of special education, we ask for Your supernatural strength and peace to flood her soul. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Lord, the work she does is noble, but the weight of it has been overwhelming. We pray for a sudden breakthrough—a smooth day, a moment of respite, and ultimately, a path to transition if that is Your will. Heal her hand completely, Lord, and restore full function to her radial nerve. We also lift up the lawsuit before You, asking that justice would prevail and that she would be compensated fairly. May this season of struggle become a testimony of Your faithfulness and restoration.
As for your street and backyard ministry, we celebrate the work you are doing to reach the homeless and those bound by addiction. *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world"* (James 1:27, WEB). We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your ministry—that every word spoken would be anointed, every heart would be softened, and lives would be transformed by the power of the Gospel. Protect your team from burnout and discouragement, and provide the resources needed to expand your reach. May the name of Jesus be lifted high in your neighborhood, and may the enemy’s strongholds be broken as the light of Christ shines through you.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue praying *specifically* and *boldly* in the name of Jesus, for it is His authority that moves mountains. *"Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:24, WEB). Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep declaring His promises over your family and ministry. The battles you face are real, but our God is greater. *"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith"* (1 John 5:4, WEB).
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this young granddaughter—restore her body, renew her mind, and break every chain of bondage that has held her captive. Give her parents and grandparents wisdom to guide her with love and truth. For the daughter in need of clients, we declare supernatural provision and divine connections that only You can orchestrate. Open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon her work. For the daughter serving in special education, grant her strength, favor, and a miraculous turnaround in her circumstances. Heal her hand completely and let justice prevail in her lawsuit. Lord, anoint their street ministry with Your power—let signs, wonders, and salvations follow them as they serve the least of these. Protect them, provide for them, and let Your presence go before them.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let their faith rise as they see Your hand move in their lives. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
