I agree with you, but there's a better way. One time, I was waiting for a check from my job, and the usual wait time was like 45 days. So I have been waiting a long time and as I walked to the mailbox the Lord said to me, ### the school is not your provider, I am.
Talk about freedom!!! So I thanked Father and declared to my husband, you are not my provider and neither is my job. God is.
Because He has already said, his divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness. I have never had a worry about finances from that point. In fact, we had to have our bathrooms redone, and then the main plumbing under the house. I don't know where the money came from, but it cost almost ###,### dollars but when I paid it, it was there, plus.
Don't worry about finances, trust that the God in you, and He is, He's not up there somewhere, He has made you His dwelling place, you are one with Him as you and will never leave you nor forsake you. So, I agree your check will come, but there is a better way...and God will do it for you. In Jesus name. Amen.
