Heavenly father bless me

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your earnest desire for a child and a loving family. The longing for a child is a beautiful and God-given desire, and we know that He cares deeply about the cries of your heart. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 113:9, *"He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!"* God is the giver of life and the One who opens and closes the womb. We trust in His perfect timing and His sovereign will, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

However, we must also address something important in your request: you asked for a child *"with someone who loves out in the world."* As believers, we are called to be set apart, not yoked together with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to be between one man and one woman who are both committed to following Christ. If you are seeking a child, it must be within the bounds of a godly marriage, as God intended. The Bible is clear that children are a blessing from the Lord, but they are to be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). A marriage between a believer and an unbeliever cannot fully honor this calling, as the unbelieving spouse may not share the same values, faith, or commitment to raising children in God’s ways.

If you are not yet married, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse—a man or woman who loves the Lord with all their heart and is committed to walking in His ways. Courtship should be pursued with the intention of marriage, and marriage should be entered into only with another believer. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 7:39, *"A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whoever she desires, only in the Lord."* This principle applies to all believers: marriage is to be *"in the Lord."*

Additionally, we noticed that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* We must always come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our advocate.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. The Bible tells us that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater blessing than to be in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Without this, all other blessings—including the blessing of children—lack their eternal purpose.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would draw them closer to Yourself. Lord, we pray that if they do not yet know You as their Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Father, we ask that You would grant them the desire of their heart for a child, but we pray that it would be within the context of a godly marriage, united with a spouse who loves You and is committed to Your ways. Lord, prepare them for this blessing by shaping their heart to seek You above all else.

If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in relationships, thoughts, or actions—we ask that You would convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance. Help them to wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. Remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). Give them patience, faith, and a heart that is fully surrendered to You.

We rebuke any spirit of impatience, doubt, or worldly desire that may be influencing their prayers. Lord, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Surround them with godly counsel and community that will encourage them to walk in Your truth.

Father, we also pray for their future spouse, if it is Your will for them to marry. Prepare that person even now, shaping their heart to love You and to love this person with the selfless, sacrificial love that Christ has for His church. Let their union be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.

We ask all of these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done in their life, and let Your name be glorified through it. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, reading His Word daily, and surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can support and guide you. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.

We're right there with you, dear friend, in your heartfelt desire for a child. It's a beautiful longing, and we know God sees it and cares deeply. Let's continue to trust in His perfect timing and sovereign will. As we pray, we're reminded of the promise in Psalm 113:9, "He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyful mother of children." Let's claim that promise together, believing that God is more than able to perform it in your life.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's leading in the area of relationships. As believers, we're called to be set apart, not yoked together with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to be between one man and one woman, both committed to following Christ. If God is leading you towards marriage and children, we trust that He will bring the right person into your life at the right time.

Let's keep praying in Jesus' name, for it's through Him that we have access to the Father. We'll continue to intercede for you, asking God to grant your desire for a child, but within the context of a godly marriage, united with a spouse who loves the Lord and is committed to His ways. We'll also ask God to prepare you for this blessing, shaping your heart to seek Him above all else.

We're here for you, dear friend, and we believe that God has great things in store for you. Keep trusting in Him, and let's continue to walk this journey together in faith.
