We join you in agreement with this powerful prayer for protection and discernment and we thank you for standing on the Word of God with us.

We love how you have acknowledged the sovereignty of our Heavenly Father, for nothing is hidden from His sight. As you quoted, Jeremiah 5:26 says For among my people are found wicked men. They watch, as fowlers lie in wait. They set a trap. They catch men. This is a sober reminder that the enemy often works in secret, but our God sees every hidden snare and every evil plan formed in darkness, and He is faithful to expose and to deliver.

We take comfort in knowing that the Lord is our shield and defender. Psalm 91:1-4 tells us He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 reminds us But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn.

We also join you in praying for divine discernment, for we need wisdom to walk carefully in these days. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Ephesians 6:11 exhorts us to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. When we stay rooted in the Word of Life, which is Jesus Christ, and remain in prayer, the Holy Spirit sharpens our eyes to see deceit and gives us grace to step away from danger before harm can come.

We hear how heavy it can feel to sense hidden opposition around your family, work and peace, and to wonder what you cannot see. It makes sense you would bring that to God and ask Him to watch over what is most dear to you.

We join you in asking Him to do that. We believe He sees what is hidden and cares for you steadily, not from a distance but close at hand. One thing that has helped others carrying this same burden is learning to keep the focus more on staying near to God than on scanning for traps. When our hearts are quiet before Him in regular prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship with other believers, He often gives a clearer, calmer sense of what is good and what needs caution, without us having to live on edge.

If worry spikes during the day, it can help to name the specific concern briefly to God, then share it with one trusted, mature believer who can pray with you and offer steady perspective. That keeps discernment grounded and not isolating.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His gracious deliverance. The word you have quoted is true and solemn, that wicked men lay wait as he that setteth snares, they set a trap, they catch men. Yet it is a great comfort to the believer to know that nothing is hidden from the eyes of Him who is our Creator and our Keeper.

Be encouraged that all your afflictions and all the malice of men lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. If this evil came apart from divine permission, where should we be. But no secret plan, no hidden snare, no unfriendly alliance is outside the sacred zone of providential government. The Lord sees what is done in secret, and He will frustrate the schemes of the wicked and scatter every device that is raised against His people. Man's will may stand up against God's will, and man's device against God's counsel, but the Eternal God withstands all that opposes itself against Him. He will lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from their seats.

Above all, remember the great deliverance which God has already wrought for sinners. When we were ready to go down to the pit, a voice came from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. No man would have thought of such a way, but God in infinite mercy invented it and provided it. He has found a ransom in the precious blood of His dear Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God and the Bread of Heaven. Through that ransom we are saved from sin, from Satan, and from every power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

Therefore walk in the appointed ways of the Lord, keeping altogether clear of every evil way. The promise of angelic protection belongs to those who abide in the way of obedience and holiness. Keep back from the beginnings of evil, and pray for that divine discernment which comes from staying your mind upon Christ and upon His Word, that you may see clearly and recognize hidden dangers before they can cause harm.

We pray with you now that the Lord will keep you in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him, because you trust in Him. That peace comes only from God, through the blood which has made full atonement, and it is a present possession even when duties press and sorrows surge around. May He cover you and your family and your work with His shield, guide your steps away from danger, and let His peace reign in your heart.

Scripture is true when it warns in Jeremiah that wicked men lay wait and set traps to catch others. They work in craftiness and in hidden things of shame, but nothing is hidden from God. His eyes see everything, and He is not deceived by what is veiled or done in secret. As the apostles taught, we have renounced hidden shame and do not walk in craftiness nor handle the word of God deceitfully, but we walk openly before Him who knows all hearts.

We pray with you that God would grant you clear discernment to recognize deceit and hidden dangers before they can do harm, and that He would frustrate every evil plan or snare set against your life, your family, your work and your peace. Our hope is not only that God would keep us from all hardship, for He sometimes permits His people to pass through trials, but that He sets us above danger and teaches us to stand firm, knowing that our soul is secure in Him. In Christ we have both deliverance from evil and the supply of every good thing, for He has delivered us and brought us into adoption as sons through faith in Him.

You have rightly acknowledged His sovereignty, that He is Creator and protector, and that His eyes see everything and nothing is hidden from Him. Jeremiah 5:26 reminds us that among people there can be those who wait in secret and set traps to catch others, so it is wise and biblical to ask God for discernment about unseen dangers.

Scripture speaks of the Lord as our refuge and fortress when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High. He promises to deliver from the snare of the fowler, the trap set by one who catches birds. In a spiritual sense the enemy lays such snares for the people of God, but the Lord is faithful to rescue. He covers His own as with wings, giving comfort and safety, and His truth becomes our shield and defense. Jesus met the attacks of the enemy with the truth of God's Word, and that same truth still guards us today.

Often God allows His people to come into places that feel impossible, where there seems to be no way of escape, so that He may show His power to make a way where there is no way. When He delivered Israel out of Egypt and brought them through the sea, they responded with a song of praise for His glorious triumph and victory over their enemies. That history is given as a picture for us, that God still brings deliverance and gives His people reason to rejoice. When He works, fear falls upon those who oppose Him, while His people find peace under His care.

So I pray with you now. Heavenly Father, You see every hidden plan and secret snare formed against this life, family, work and peace. Grant clear discernment to recognize deception and to turn away from danger before harm comes. Arise and deliver from every evil scheme, frustrate the plans of the wicked and scatter every harmful alliance. Cover this household under Your wings, surround them with Your truth as a shield, guide each step away from the trap, and let Your peace reign in the heart. We place safety and the future in Your hands, trusting Your presence in trouble, Your promise to answer prayer, and Your power to deliver and to honor those who walk in fellowship with You.
