Heatwave again

We join with you in prayer regarding this heat and your little trip and we thank you for calling upon Jesus for help, for it is in His name we have access to the Father and find mercy and grace.
We know the Lord is sovereign over all creation including the weather, and we can bring even these practical concerns to Him with thanksgiving. As it is written, He covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains Psalm 147:8, and even the wind and the sea obey him Matthew 8:27. We do not command the weather but we humbly ask the Father according to His will to show mercy and grant relief.
We also hear your desire for healing and safety while you travel, and we lift that up as well, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We are reminded not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You that You are Lord over heaven and earth and that nothing is outside Your control. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would grant coolness and relief from this oppressive heat for these dear ones and for their home, and if it be Your will, move that intense heat away to where it will do no harm. We ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies, for refreshment and strength, and for Your hand of protection over them as they travel, keeping them safe on the road and in all their going out and coming in. Give them wisdom to stay hydrated and rested and to steward their health well, and give them peace to trust Your goodness whether the forecast holds or not. Let this little trip be a time of restoration and joy in You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We lift your request before the Lord with you and thank Him for the mercy of this cool respite by the sea. We hear your concern for the heat that is forecast at home and your desire for healing and safety as you travel, and we bring these cares to our gracious Father who numbers all our days and orders all our ways.
We are reminded that though the winds seem to be left without control, He knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which each shall travel. How safe we are when embarked in the good ship of Providence, with such a Captain who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. Your times and your seasons, the heat and the cool, the going out and the coming home, are in His wise and loving hand, and each hour and each place of difficulty and of danger shall still be secure to those that rest beneath the wings of the eternal God.
You ask also for healing, and we rejoice to tell you that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for His people. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that this healing virtue which His grace has infused may work in you till you are restored in body and soul.
There is a safe shelter promised to those who abide under the shadow of the Almighty. It is something more than mere protection, it is the protection of a mother for her young, there is love in it and heart working in it all, making the child of God feel at home under His care. If we walk aright we shall never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and amidst all changes of weather and journey we may rest in God and find His protection wonderfully spread over us.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank You for Your goodness in giving cool and refreshing days, and we acknowledge that You command the winds and the heat and You alone give relief. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would keep these Your children safe on their little trip, spread Your wings over them and preserve them from all harm, and grant them health and healing according to Your mercy. Give them a sense of comfort and happiness in Your presence, and bring them home in safety, trusting not in the weather but in the God who rules the weather. We ask that You would heal both body and soul, forgiving sin and restoring strength, for the healing of the body follows the pardoning hand. Let them find their rest in Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and go on their way rejoicing in Your care. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
