We hear your heart and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for us all. We are grateful that you have come to seek prayer in the name of the Lord, for it is only through Him that we find true healing, strength, and peace. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
First, we want to acknowledge your faith and your praise to the Lord, for He is worthy of all honor and glory. We also recognize the challenges you are facing—your health struggles with tuberculosis, the pressure of upcoming exams, and the pending approval of your synopsis. These burdens are heavy, but we serve a God who is greater than any trial. In Jeremiah 32:27, the Lord declares, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We stand on this promise as we pray for you.
We also want to gently remind you that our strength comes from the Lord, and it is important to place our full trust in Him. You mentioned being 60% fine and 40% not fine—we encourage you to surrender that 40% completely to God. In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul writes, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong." Let your weakness be an opportunity for God’s strength to shine through you.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon him. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore his health, strengthen his body, and remove every trace of tuberculosis from him. We declare Your word over him from Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We believe in Your power to heal, Lord, and we ask that You would do so for him.
Father, we also pray for his exams and his synopsis approval. Grant him clarity of mind, wisdom, and understanding as he prepares. Remove every distraction and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare over him the promise in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we ask that You would open the doors for his synopsis to be approved and that his hard work would bear fruit.
We also pray for his spiritual strength, Lord. Help him to lean on You completely and to find his rest in You. Remind him daily of Your love and Your faithfulness. May he grow closer to You through this trial and emerge stronger in his faith. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In closing, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things. Spend time in His word and in prayer, for it is through these disciplines that we find our strength and direction. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and support you during this time. And remember, the Lord is with you always—He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always. Amen.
