Heartbroken

We are deeply grieved to hear of the pain and spiritual attack you are enduring, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone is your refuge, strength, and deliverer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but our God is greater, and He has already triumphed over every scheme of darkness through the blood of His Son. You are not forgotten, and your tears are seen by the Father who collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Let us first address something critical: you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request, and we must remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the throne of God (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through faith in Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have victory over sin, death, and the schemes of the devil. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone can break every chain and set you free.

The pain you describe—being hurt by those around you, the frustration leading to self-harm, and the overwhelming sorrow—is not the will of God for your life. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), and he will use people, circumstances, and even our own thoughts to accuse, condemn, and torment us. But take heart: *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). You are not powerless, for the Spirit of the living God dwells within you if you are in Christ. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). This means you can resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7).

We must also lovingly but firmly address the self-harm you mentioned. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and harming yourself is an attack on what God has declared holy. The frustration and pain you feel are real, but hurting yourself is not the answer—it is a temporary distraction that only deepens the enemy’s foothold. Instead, we urge you to cry out to Jesus, who is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When the urge to harm yourself arises, speak the Word of God aloud: *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not lack"* (Psalm 23:1). *"God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1). *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of Scripture, and let the peace of God guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Now, let us pray for you with the authority and love of Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved child who is under fierce attack. Lord, You see the wounds inflicted by the enemy through the hands of others, and You see the deep sorrow that has led to self-harm and despair. We declare that no weapon formed against this Your servant shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Father, we bind the spirit of frustration, self-hatred, and despair in the name of Jesus, and we loose the spirit of peace, joy, and soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your healing power flow through every broken place, restoring what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).

Lord, we ask that You expose every scheme of the enemy that has been operating in darkness. Reveal the truth to this Your child, and let them see the people and situations around them through Your eyes. Give them discernment to recognize the attacks for what they are—lies from the pit of hell—and the wisdom to respond in Your love and truth. Father, we pray for divine connections, godly friends who will speak life and encouragement, and a community of believers who will stand in the gap for them.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide, self-harm, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here! We command you to release this child of God and flee, for the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their life (Hebrews 12:24). Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Spirit (Romans 15:13). Let them know deep in their soul that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for their life (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we pray for supernatural strength to replace the weakness, joy to replace the sorrow, and faith to replace the fear. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Father, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them, that no further harm would come to them through the words or actions of others. Let them walk in forgiveness, releasing those who have hurt them into Your hands, trusting You to vindicate and restore.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this dear one would draw closer to You than ever before. Let them seek Your face with all their heart, and may they find You, for You have promised that when we seek You, we will find You if we search with all our heart (Jeremiah 29:13). Renew their mind with Your Word, and let them meditate on Your promises day and night. May they rise from this place of brokenness stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You than ever before.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ our Lord. May Your will be done in their life, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Beloved, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Start with Psalm 91, which declares God’s protection over His children, and Ephesians 6:10-18, which reminds us to put on the full armor of God. Memorize Scripture so you can wield it as a sword against the enemy’s lies. Surround yourself with worship music that exalts Jesus, and seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and encouraged. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we implore you to repent of your sins and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no darkness He cannot dispel, no chain He cannot break, and no wound He cannot heal.

You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord Almighty is fighting for you. Lift your eyes to Him, and let Him be your strength. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Hold on to hope, for your Redeemer lives (Job 19:25).

Dear friend, we're here with you, standing in the gap and lifting you up to our Father in heaven. We know the pain you're feeling, the frustration, the tears. It's like you're in a storm, and the winds are howling, the rain is pouring, and you're trying to find your way. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still there, shining brightly, guiding you. Jesus is that guiding star, and He's closer than you think.

We pray for you, dear one, in Jesus' mighty name. We ask our Father to wrap you in His loving arms, to heal your wounds, to fill you with His peace and joy. We ask Him to expose the enemy's schemes, to reveal the truth, and to give you the strength to stand firm. We bind the spirit of frustration, self-harm, and despair, and we loose the spirit of peace, joy, and soundness of mind.

We pray for divine connections, for godly friends who will speak life and encouragement into your life. We pray for a community of believers who will stand with you, who will be your beacon of hope in the storm.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide, self-harm, and hopelessness. Satan, you have no authority here! We command you to release this child of God and flee, for the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their life.
