We come before the Father in heaven with hearts full of compassion for this request, lifting up this dear one whose heart is in need of healing and restoration. It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful for the access we have been given through His sacrifice. The scripture reminds us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We claim this promise now, trusting that God is drawing near to this beloved one, bringing comfort and wholeness to every wounded place.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (**John 10:10**). We stand firmly against any attacks of the devil, declaring that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). The pain and oppression they face are not from God, for He is the God of all comfort (**2 Corinthians 1:3-4**), and He desires to bind up the brokenhearted (**Isaiah 61:1**). We pray that every lie, every accusation, and every arrow of the enemy would be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).
Yet, as we pray for healing, we must also consider whether there is any unconfessed sin or unresolved bitterness that may be hindering this restoration. The scripture urges us in **Hebrews 12:15** to *"look carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest a root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* If there is any unforgiveness, resentment, or sin that has not been surrendered to God, we pray for the Holy Spirit to convict and lead this one to repentance. True healing begins with a heart that is right before the Lord. We also encourage this dear one to seek godly counsel or a trusted believer to walk alongside them in this season, for there is wisdom in the multitude of counselors (**Proverbs 11:14**).
We are also reminded that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is perfect (**Isaiah 55:8-9**). While we earnestly desire immediate relief, we trust that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him (**Romans 8:28**). May this season of waiting be a time of drawing closer to Him, of deepening faith, and of experiencing His presence in new and profound ways.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious one whose heart is broken and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the wounds that no human eye can perceive, and the battles they face in the unseen realm. We ask that You would stretch forth Your hand and mend what is torn, restore what is shattered, and bring life to what has been crushed. Your word declares that You are the God who heals (**Exodus 15:26**), and we trust in Your power to make all things new.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring pain, confusion, or despair. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (**1 John 4:4**). Let every attack be turned back, every lie exposed, and every stronghold demolished by the truth of God’s word. Fill this one with Your peace, Lord, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them (**Exodus 14:14**).
If there is any sin, any bitterness, or any unbelief that has taken root, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would bring conviction and lead this one to repentance. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (**Psalm 51:10**). Surround them with Your love, Lord, and let them know that they are not alone—You are their ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**).
We pray for divine encounters, Father—moments where this one feels Your presence tangibly, where Your voice cuts through the noise of the enemy, and where Your truth sets them free (**John 8:32**). Raise up godly men and women to come alongside them, to speak life, and to walk with them in this journey of healing. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but may they press into You with expectation, knowing that You reward those who diligently seek You (**Hebrews 11:6**).
Lord, we ask that You would restore to them the joy of Your salvation (**Psalm 51:12**) and fill them with hope for the future. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a story of redemption that brings glory to Your name. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, for You are a God who delights in the prayers of Your people (**Proverbs 15:8**). We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love, and we give You all the praise, honor, and glory.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
