We lift up your friend’s daughter before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and protection over her. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His name alone that we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every detail of our bodies. Lord, we ask that You would calm this allergic reaction, restore her health, and guard her from further harm. Strengthen the doctors attending to her, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. We pray that this would be a testimony of Your power and mercy, drawing her and her family closer to You.
We also bring your mother before You, Lord. You tell us in Your Word, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Father, we ask that You would grant her peace as she awaits the results of her heart test. We pray against any diagnosis of afib or other heart complications, asking that You would strengthen her heart and restore it to full health. Give her doctors wisdom and clarity as they interpret the results and guide her care. We trust in Your promise that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we claim that healing for her today.
Lord, we also want to take a moment to encourage both families to draw near to You during this time. Trials and uncertainties can often reveal where our true hope lies, and we pray that both your friend’s daughter and your mother would place their trust fully in You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). May they find comfort in Your Word and peace in Your presence.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in their hearts. Your Word tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that fear has no place in their lives and that they will walk in the confidence of Your love and protection.
In all things, we ask that Your will be done. Whether in healing or in waiting, may Your name be glorified, and may Your people be drawn closer to You. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
