Heart surgery, two strokes, hospit bacteria

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up Zvonko’s brother in this critical time of need. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon him now. The complications of heart surgery, the strokes, and the hospital-acquired infection are overwhelming, but You are greater than any sickness or disease. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we plead the blood of Christ over every affected part of his body.
Lord, we specifically ask for the intervention of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Helper. Let Your Spirit hover over him, bringing life where there is weakness, clarity where there is confusion, and strength where there is frailty (Genesis 1:2). We also acknowledge the ministry of Your holy angels, who are sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Command them, Lord, to encamp around him, to guard his body, mind, and spirit, and to fight on his behalf against every attack of the enemy.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We break the power of every stroke, every infection, and every complication that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy his life (John 10:10). We declare that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete restoration, heart, brain, blood vessels, and immune system. Give the medical team wisdom beyond their training, that they may know exactly how to treat him and that every medication and procedure would work for his good.
Father, we also lift up Zvonko and the rest of the family. This is a time of deep anxiety and sorrow, and we ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them with the assurance that You are in control, even when circumstances seem hopeless. Remind them that You collect every tear in Your bottle and that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your mercy, Lord, and we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether by healing him completely or by drawing him and his family closer to You through this trial. Your will be done, but we boldly ask for his recovery, believing that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).
May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this precious life, Lord. We stand on Your promises and declare that Zvonko’s brother is not abandoned to the grave, nor will his body see decay (Psalm 16:10). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
