Heart is hurting and broken

Disciple of Prayer
Pray for my healing, going through a break up and I am feeling down and very sad,and lonely.Pray for God to move and open doors, bringing the right people in my path! Pray for a breakthrough in my life and for my boyfriend & I to reconcile.Thank you so much!!

We hear the pain in your heart and we are joining you in prayer together in Jesus name for your healing and comfort during this very difficult breakup. The Lord sees your sadness and loneliness and He is close to you in this brokenness. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We take comfort that He does not leave us alone in our sorrow. Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid nor be scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. And Hebrews 13:5 says He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.

We also want to lovingly speak truth over your relationship as you have asked for prayer to reconcile with your boyfriend. We believe that being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer, because we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage in this relationship, we gently rebuke that and encourage you to repent and turn from it, seeking God's forgiveness and choosing purity going forward. We also encourage you to consider whether this man is a believer in Jesus Christ, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. A courtship should be centered on Christ and moving toward a godly marriage that honors God, not simply companionship or emotional attachment. If reconciliation is God's will, we pray it would be toward that kind of Christ centered marriage. If not, we pray God would give you peace to release it and trust His better plan.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our hearts are truly healed.

We pray for the breakthrough and open doors you are asking for, and we trust God to bring the right people into your path according to His perfect will. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We also cling to Proverbs 3:5-6 which says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to touch her hurting and broken heart and bring Your healing and comfort. Lord, wipe away her tears, calm her sadness and loneliness, and remind her that You are near and that You love her with an everlasting love. Forgive any sin, including any sexual immorality if it has occurred, and cleanse her through the blood of Jesus. Give her wisdom about this relationship with her boyfriend. If it is Your will for them to reconcile and that reconciliation would lead to a holy marriage between two believers that honors You, then we pray You would restore and redeem it and make it centered on You. If it is not Your will, give her strength to let go, peace that passes understanding, and hope for the future. Move in her life Lord, open the doors that You want opened and close those that should be closed, and bring godly friendships and community around her so she is not alone. Lead her to a godly spouse in Your timing if it is Your will for her to marry. Help her to trust You fully and seek You first. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We are so glad you reached out while your heart is hurting like this. A breakup can leave you feeling wrung out, sad and lonely all at once, and it makes sense you are feeling down right now.

We are praying for your healing and for comfort in those lonely stretches, and for God to guide your next steps. We are also praying for breakthrough, not just a quick change in circumstances, but renewed strength and hope as He leads you forward day by day, and brings steady, caring people around you.

When everything feels unsettled it helps not to walk through it alone. One gentle step that often helps in this kind of season is to stay connected in a simple, regular way, whether that is joining worship this week, spending time with a small group, or talking openly with a trusted friend or pastor who knows you. You do not need to have all the answers right now, just a safe place to be honest and to be reminded you are not alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You in this tender time. Bring comfort to her hurting heart and peace in the loneliness. Give her wisdom and clarity as she thinks about this relationship and about what is ahead, and help her to discern Your will. Open the right doors in Your timing and surround her with people who will encourage her and care for her well. Draw her close to You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your broken heart has been heard, and your sorrow is not hidden from the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. To feel down and sad and lonely in such a season is a deep affliction, and we would come alongside you with the word of God for your comfort and your guidance.

You speak of loneliness, and there is One who has entered into that loneliness before you. Our Savior was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and His disciples forsook Him and fled. Yet hear His word, you shall leave me alone and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. His loneliness did not destroy Him, and it need not overwhelm you. If you are in Christ, you are never utterly alone, for the Father is with you, and Christ Himself knows the pain of being forsaken that He might bring you near.

You ask for healing, and there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, to teach us that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves, His gentlest touches, have virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. But this healing is joined to pardon. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He first said, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings upon those who look to Him. Therefore the first and deepest healing we pray for you is not only the easing of present grief but the full forgiveness and cleansing that comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for all have need of it and only He can give it.

You ask also for open doors and for the right people to be brought into your path, and for a breakthrough. We do pray the Lord will lead you and provide godly fellowship and wise counsel, and that He will place you among His people who can bear your burdens and speak His truth in love. The true breakthrough we long for you to know is that which God has already prepared, for He is the God of peace who has prepared everything necessary for a perfect reconciliation. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. This is the word of reconciliation committed unto us, that sinners may be at peace with God through the blood of His Son. When that reconciliation is known in the soul, there is a joy and a peace which remains though other sorrows linger.

Concerning your desire for reconciliation with your boyfriend, we must answer you faithfully and tenderly as before the Lord. We cannot ask God to simply bless and restore a relationship as it was, apart from His holy will. Marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and both the gift of intimate union and the living together that belongs to it are to be kept within that covenant. Because we love you we will not pray for a reunion that would continue outside that design, nor encourage you to seek comfort in a path that does not honor Christ. What we will pray is that the Lord will give you clarity and grace to surrender this relationship wholly to Him, to seek purity and wisdom, and to trust His will whether that be a future together ordered toward holy marriage in the Lord, or a gracious healing and leading apart for His glory and your good. Seek godly counsel in your local church, walk in the light of His Word, and let every decision be brought under the Lordship of Christ.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this wounded and lonely heart. Forgive sin through the precious blood of Jesus Christ and speak pardon to the soul, for with pardon comes healing. Lift up this downcast one and let her know that though friends may fail, Thou wilt never leave nor forsake those who trust in Thee. Apply the healing leaves of Christ to this bruised spirit and make it whole. Grant a true breakthrough of grace, that she may be reconciled to Thee and walk in the light of Thy favor. Provide faithful friends and a faithful church to walk beside her, and guide her steps through open doors according to Thy perfect wisdom. In the matter of this relationship, we ask not for our will but Thine to be done. Grant purity, discernment, and submission to Thy design for love and marriage, and give peace to trust Thee with all the future. Comfort her with Thy presence, teach her to hear Thy Word, and heal her for Thy service, that being healed she may rise and serve Thee. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly in this painful season of heartbreak, sadness and loneliness. I have heard your cry and I am praying for you.

The Lord draws especially near to those who come to Him with a broken and contrite heart. Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit, and He was speaking of those who are awestruck and tremble at His word, who come not with demands but with humility and trust. The sacrifice God will not despise is a contrite and humble heart. In your hurt, bring that very brokenness to Him. He does not turn away from it. He heals, He cleanses, and He preserves the beauty He has put within you.

I am praying for your healing and for comfort in your loneliness. I am asking God to lift the heaviness you feel, to give you peace that goes beyond understanding, and to show you His nearness each day. I am praying that He will open the right doors before you, bring godly and encouraging people into your path, and give you a true breakthrough as you walk with Him in lowliness, meekness and patient trust. May He teach you to be lowly not only in words but in your whole bearing before Him and before others, waiting on His timing with a quiet confidence.

Regarding your desire to reconcile with your boyfriend, I want to pray for you with care and truth. I will not simply ask God to bless a reunion as it was, because God calls us to honor Him in all our relationships. His good design is that intimacy and living together belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and that our dating relationships be marked by purity, wisdom and a desire to honor Him. So I am praying instead for God's perfect will to be done for both of you.

I am asking that the Lord give you clarity, purity of heart, and wise counsel, and that He lead you both to seek Him first above all else. If it is His will to bring you together again, I pray it would be on a new foundation that honors Him and moves toward holy marriage in His time. If it is not His will, I pray He will give you grace to release that hope, to heal fully, and to move forward in wholeness and peace, keeping yourself undefiled and trusting His better plan for your future.

May the Lord, who has cleansed us through Christ, keep you pure and guarded from every stain, and may He fill the lonely places with His presence. Cast your cares on Jesus, who alone is our salvation, and rest in His love. He sees you, He hears your prayer, and He will guide your steps as you humbly follow Him.

Father, I lift this dear one to You. Comfort this broken heart, heal this sadness, remove loneliness and fill it with Your presence. Open the doors You want opened and close those You want closed. Bring faithful friends and godly community. Lead in this relationship according to Your perfect will, and give strength to honor You in all things. Do Your work of healing and breakthrough, for Your glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Your heart is hurting and you are carrying real sadness and loneliness after this breakup, and God sees that pain with compassion. He is close to the brokenhearted and He understands both the ache you feel now and the longing you have for healing, for open doors, and for people around you who will truly help you walk with Him.

Healing is something God does in many ways, and much about it remains beyond our understanding. Sometimes healing comes at once, sometimes it comes gradually over time, and sometimes it comes through the ordinary processes God Himself built into our bodies and minds. All of it is from Him, whether it is physical or the deeper healing of emotions, memories and inner wounds. Jesus showed that He does not work by one fixed pattern. At times He touched, at times He spoke a word from a distance, at times healing was instant and at one time it was gradual. What matters is not the method but that He is the Healer.

Scripture tells us that He has borne our griefs and carried our infirmities, as Isaiah prophesied and as Matthew shows fulfilled in Jesus. That means you can bring your sorrow, your loneliness and your brokenness directly to Him, because He has already taken that burden upon Himself. At the same time His work of healing is sovereign. We do not always know why some are lifted quickly and others walk a longer road, and His ways are higher than our ways and beyond our searching out. It is wrong to put guilt on yourself if healing takes time or if answers do not come as quickly as you hope. God is not withholding love from you. He is able to heal today, and He is also faithful to walk with you through a process until wholeness comes.

In your loneliness, bring your heart honestly to Jesus and ask Him to do that deeper work of healing the scars left by this loss. He can heal the thoughts and emotions that feel so heavy right now and give you peace that steadies you day by day. As you wait, keep looking to Him to open the right doors in His timing and to bring the right people into your path, people who will encourage you, point you to Christ, and help you grow.

Regarding your desire to reconcile with your boyfriend, I will pray for you with care for what God says is good and holy. God offers salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and He designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, with sexual intimacy and living together belonging within that covenant. Because of that, I cannot ask God to simply bless a reunion as you wish, apart from His will. Instead I will pray that God gives you wisdom and clarity, that He leads both of you to seek Him first, and that if restoration is part of His good plan, it would be toward a relationship that honors Him and moves toward that kind of committed, pure covenant if He wills it. If not, I pray He will give you grace to accept His direction and to find breakthrough in following Him.

My prayer for you is that God brings comfort to your sadness, heals your broken heart in the deep places, lifts the weight of loneliness, and fills you with His presence. I pray He gives you a clear sense of His breakthrough in your life, opens doors that no one else can open, closes those that should stay closed, and brings godly friendships and counsel around you. I pray He guides you step by step, helps you trust His sovereign love even when you do not understand, and draws you closer to Jesus, who alone is your hope and your healer. May you know His peace and His leading as you continue to seek Him.
