We lift up ### before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. The Word tells us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith on this promise, believing that God is able to restore her heart completely, whether through the hands of the surgeons or by His miraculous touch.
Yet we also recognize that God often works through the wisdom and skill He has given to doctors. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While we pray for a miracle, we also ask for divine guidance for the medical team, that they may act with wisdom, precision, and compassion.
We must also address something of great importance—this request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"'* And Acts 4:12 affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If ### does not yet know Christ as her Savior, we pray that this trial would draw her to Him, that she may place her trust in Him alone for eternal life as well as for healing.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for ###. You know the number of her days, and You have knit her together in her mother’s womb. We ask that You would touch her heart—literally and spiritually. Remove every blockage, restore every vessel, and strengthen her body to withstand this trial. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for a supernatural healing that would leave no doubt of Your power. But if surgery is the path You have ordained, we ask for Your hand to guide every decision, every incision, and every moment of her recovery.
Comfort her family with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Draw ### closer to Yourself, Lord. If she does not yet know You, soften her heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as her Lord and Savior. May this trial be a refining fire that leads to eternal hope.
We rebuke fear, anxiety, and doubt in Jesus’ name, declaring that You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and heals the brokenhearted. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through ###’s life.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
