Please pray for my mother, Linda Coleman, who has been a Christain for almost 30 years, yet she has lost her Joy. It sadden my heart to watch my mom face difficulty without putting her total faith in Christ. She is so good in qouting scripture, but when facing trouble, she doesn't apply those scripture to her life. I am watching her trying to sought things out in her own ability and get frustrated when it fails.
I have been a christian for over four years, but I know enough to know, living in this world I will face trouble. But I also know that it'll take the power of God to deliver and rescue me from it all. And this is the real joy that I rest in; that he is control of creature, creation and its existence, therefore he's bigger than my problems.
I want so badly for my mom to live in that Joy. I want her to give up her man-made strength and replace it with the strength of Christ. I want her to give up her fight and let God fight her battles for her. I've prayed about this matter alone, but now i'm asking for someone to come into agreement with me for God to touch her in a way that only he will get the glory.
Pray that God will open my mom's hearts to receive him and pray that my mom will surrender to him. Despite of all the hurtful things she has ever did and said to me as a Christain, I realize she is screaming for Love. And that love is found only in Christ. He is true Love.
