We hear your cry for help and lift your struggle with tinnitus before the throne of grace, trusting in the Great Physician who formed your ears and knows every detail of your suffering. The constant ringing and distress you describe is not hidden from the Lord, who promises in Psalm 34:15, "Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry." Though this affliction feels unbearable, we declare that nothing is too hard for our God, who still performs miracles of healing and restoration today.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your throne. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon our brother/sister’s ears. Bring relief from this tormenting tinnitus, whether through supernatural healing, medical intervention, or divine peace that surpasses understanding. Your Word declares in Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you," and we stand on that promise today. We rebuke this affliction in Jesus’ name, commanding it to leave and not return.
We also pray for Your comfort to surround them in this trial. Help them to fix their eyes on You rather than their circumstances, remembering that "we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works" (Ephesians 2:10). May they find strength in Your presence, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18).
If this condition has come from stress, fear, or other spiritual attacks, we break those assignments of the enemy right now. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." But we resist him, firm in our faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We encourage you to draw near to God in this season. Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let worship and prayer become your refuge, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Consider also seeking godly medical counsel, for the Lord often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians.
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw you into deeper dependence on Christ. May you echo the words of Job, who said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" (Job 13:15). And may you experience the truth of Romans 8:28, that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Lord Jesus, we thank You that You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). We claim that finished work of the cross over this hearing condition. Fill our brother/sister with Your peace that passes all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they know that You are their healer, their strength, and their very present help in trouble. We ask all these things in Your precious and powerful name. Amen.
