We join with you in this beautiful desire to honor God with your body, your time, your home, and your walk with Him, and we bring you and your family before the throne together in Jesus' name.

We rejoice that you long for discipline and order and for the Holy Spirit to guide you in the rhythms and seasons of the Lord. Your body is not your own but is entrusted to you by God, and your desire for healthy eating, sleeping, walking, exercising, and for faithful spiritual habits of reading the Bible and praying is pleasing to Him. Scripture reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We are also taught in 1 Corinthians 14:40 to let all things be done decently and in order, and in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that for everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. When we seek His order, He establishes our steps. Psalm 90:12 teaches us to pray, so teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom, and Proverbs 21:5 reminds us that the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. True strength for these habits does not come from willpower alone but from being filled and led by the Spirit, for Galatians 5:22-23 shows the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.

We pray together now for you and your household. Father in heaven, we thank You for this heart that longs to walk in health, order, and holiness before You. We ask You to fill each member of this family anew with Your Holy Spirit, for Your word says in Ephesians 5:18 not to be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but to be filled with the Spirit, and in John 14:26 that the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in His name, will teach us all things and remind us of all that Jesus said. Lead us, Lord, in daily discipline to steward our bodies, our time, and our homes for Your glory, to eat with temperance, to sleep and rise in peace, to move and exercise with thankfulness, and to be faithful in prayer and in Your word. Establish organized habits and an organized life that reflects Your peace and not confusion, that everything we do may be done as unto You as Colossians 3:23 teaches.

We also lift up your dear mother and your brother before Your mercy. Lord, You know their needs, their bodies, and their souls. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, for You are the One who in Psalm 103:2-3 forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and we ask above all for their salvation. We pray that they would believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, as You have promised in Acts 16:31, and that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and let them know the forgiveness and eternal life that comes only through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We encourage you to continue daily inviting the Holy Spirit to order your day, to set times for the Word, for prayer, for rest, and for work, trusting that as you commit your works to Yahweh your plans shall be established as Proverbs 16:3 promises. Walk faithfully in small things, and God will give grace for more. We stand with you, believing God will bring health, order, spiritual strength, and salvation to your household as you abide in Him.

We appreciate you sharing this desire for wholeness. Wanting healthy rhythms for eating, sleeping, walking and exercise, and for time with the Lord in prayer and the Bible, and wanting that for your whole family in step with God, is a beautiful longing.

One thing that helps many of us is to think of habits as training more than trying. Like preparing for a long walk, we do not change everything overnight. Small, regular steps done faithfully over time shape us more than intense bursts that fade. That can take pressure off as you seek to live in God's rhythm through different seasons.

If it would help, consider choosing just one or two small anchors to begin together as a family this week. Perhaps a consistent bedtime and wake time, a daily walk together, and a brief time to read the Bible and pray at the same time each day. Keep it simple and repeatable and let it grow gradually. An organized life often grows from a few steady anchors rather than a perfect plan. On days that feel scattered, you can simply return to those anchors without guilt.

We are also lifting up your mother and your brother with you, asking for God's healing presence and His drawing near for salvation in Christ.

Father, we ask You to fill this family with Your Holy Spirit and guide each day. Establish healthy, sustainable rhythms, bring order where there is overwhelm, and draw their mother and brother close to Jesus for healing and salvation. Lead them step by step in Your seasons. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for an ordered life and for holy habits is itself a gracious work, for order and holiness come not from mere resolution but from the Spirit of Holiness dwelling within. What you ask for yourself and your family, that you may walk in the rhythm and seasons of Jehovah and of Jesus, is according to the mind of God, who would have all things done decently and in order, and who makes the heart of man, though it be but a cottage and unclean, to be His palace and continual abode.

I would have you consider first the Holy Spirit whom you desire as guide and filler. He is the Author of all spiritual life. Until He visits us we are dead in trespasses and sins, and no man can pray aright or become holy except by Him. It is a tender and touching thing that we are charged, Grieve not the Holy Spirit. He is grieved by unbelief and by unholiness of life, when we walk not according to the Gospel. If you would be filled with Him, you must walk humbly and dependently, for He glorifies Christ and not ourselves. He takes of the things of Christ and shows them unto us, and lays us low that the greatness of Christ's salvation may be the more apparent. Seek then to be taught by Him, to pray in His power and through His help, for that prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh. Cry mightily unto God that you may know you have received Him, for where He is, there is life and force and power, and a man who has Him knows it as surely as one who has felt a quickening touch.

In this dependence you will find strength for those spiritual habits you desire, the reading of the Word and prayer. There is no rubric for prayer except this, in the Holy Spirit. When you open the Bible, ask Him who inspired it to open your eyes to behold Christ therein, for He delights to deal with the things of Christ. Let your praying be not a solemn sound upon a thoughtless tongue, but a pleading wrought in you by the Spirit Himself, who will tell you how to pray. And as you are faithful in these things, you will not grieve that blessed Guest, but you will keep the seal of God upon you, which marks you as His peculiar treasure.

Nor should you despise those bodily habits of which you speak, eating and sleeping and walking and exercising with temperance. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and to steward it with order and self control is a part of holiness. An organized life, with due season for labour and for rest, for nourishment and for exercise, reflects the God of order who has appointed seasons and rhythms for all His creation. Ask the Lord to make you diligent and sober, redeeming the time, not gadding about after trifles, but giving yourself to what the Spirit honors.

For your dear mother in her age and for your brother, I will join my prayers to yours. There is salvation in no other name but Jesus Christ alone, and healing of soul and body is in His hands. May the Lord in mercy show them their need of Christ, and draw them to trust wholly in His finished work, that they may be saved and sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. And if it be His gracious will, may He lay His healing hand upon their bodies also, according to His perfect wisdom and love.

Let us pray together. O Father, grant to this dear one and to this household the gift of thy Holy Spirit, that they may be guided and filled and kept from grieving Him. Teach them to pray in the Spirit, to hear thy voice today and harden not their hearts, to walk in holiness and order before thee. Give them grace for every good habit of body and soul, and keep them in the seasons of thy providence. Save, we beseech thee, the mother and the brother, bringing them to faith in Jesus Christ, thy Son, and grant them healing as seemeth good in thy sight. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in prayer before God for these good desires, and we thank Him that you seek to order your life and your household according to His will.

Your request for healthy habits in eating, sleeping, walking and exercising, and for spiritual habits in reading the Bible and praying, is pleasing to God. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to honor God with it, and the soul is nourished by careful hearing of the Word and continual recollection of it. Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but hearing joined to doing, with fortitude and with a heart set free from worldly cares. We pray that God will give you grace to be faithful in little things and in great, at home and abroad, and that He will establish you in discipline and order, not by your own strength, for nothing is of ourselves but all is of God, but by the power of His Spirit working in you. We ask that He will teach you His rhythm and seasons, that your days may be ordered by His wisdom and not by haste or confusion.

We pray also as you have asked for the guidance and filling of the Holy Spirit for you and your family. The Lord gave His commandments through the Holy Spirit, and His words are spirit and life. The Spirit blows where He wills and His work cannot be restrained by our weakness. We ask that He will lead you into all truth, keep you from being shaken, strengthen your faith after you have been sanctified, and make you steadfast to observe all that Christ has commanded. For Christ considers our salvation His glory, and the Holy Spirit greatly desires our salvation.

We lift up your mother and your brother and ask for the healing and salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone. The death of Jesus is the salvation of the world, and there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that God in His mercy will touch your mother with healing according to His will, and more than that, that He will grant to both your mother and your brother the gift of repentance and faith in Christ, forgiveness of sins, and new life in Him. May they know that salvation is the work of God and receive it with joy.

May the God of mercies who delights to save many, grant to you and your family health, order, holiness, and a continual desire for His Word and prayer, and may He keep you all in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Your prayer for healthy and ordered habits in body, mind and spirit, and for your family to walk in the rhythm and seasons of the Lord, is a good and God honoring desire. God created us as spirit, mind and body, with the spirit intended to be uppermost, in fellowship with Him and governing the rest. When the life is led and ruled by the Spirit, there is life and peace, and the practical areas of eating, sleeping, work, exercise and rest can find their proper place without ruling over us. When the flesh rules, it brings disorder and death, but the gift of God in Jesus Christ brings eternal life and a new life to live.

The assurance that God abides in you is given by the Holy Spirit whom He has placed within every believer. When you received Jesus Christ, the Spirit came to dwell in you. Scripture describes this as being sealed, which is God's mark of ownership that you belong to Him, and as the guarantee of the inheritance that will be fully redeemed. One way you can know His presence is by the fruit that appears in your life, and the first fruit is love, love for God and love for one another. Another is by His witness to Jesus, for the Spirit always points to Christ as Savior and Lord. No one can truly confess Jesus as Lord except by the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit's work is to perfect the love of God in you as you yield to Him.

Healthy spiritual habits are sowing to the Spirit. Jesus said His words are spirit and they are life, and as you give yourself to reading the Bible and to prayer, you are sowing to the Spirit and you will reap life. This new life is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which frees from the law of sin and death. It is the greater power at work within you, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, even the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. You cannot by your own will alone put to death the deeds of the flesh and build consistent, organized habits, but by the Spirit you can. As you are filled with the Spirit and led by the Spirit, as sons and daughters of God are led, He gives you strength to establish order, to choose what is wholesome, and to keep the mind under the Spirit's control.

I join you in praying that the Lord will fill you and your family anew with His Spirit and guide you each day. May He give you wisdom for an organized life, grace to be faithful in daily habits of the Word and prayer, and strength for your body with healthy eating, sleeping, walking and exercise, all in a steady walk with Him.

I also pray for your mother and your brother, for both healing and salvation in Jesus Christ. There is no other provision God has made for salvation apart from Jesus, who laid down His life willingly and took it up again, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to Him as the only hope of eternal life. To turn away from that witness is to refuse God's provision, but to believe on Jesus is to receive forgiveness and life. May the Spirit draw them, open their hearts to believe that Jesus is Lord, and bring healing according to His mercy and will. May His hand be upon you all, and may you increase in the knowledge of His love and grace as you walk in the Spirit and His love flows forth from your lives. In Jesus name, amen.
