We are deeply moved by your burden for your mother and we join with you now in lifting her before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. To see a mother bedridden, critical, unable to eat, with decreased appetite and vomiting, and longing for her to rise up and walk again is heartbreaking, and we bring her frailty and your concern to the Lord who sees and who cares.

We pray together for her healing and comfort, for we know that all healing comes from God. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We take comfort also in James 5:14-15 which teaches, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can boldly come to God and ask for mercy and healing. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in Him for forgiveness and eternal life, and to come to the Father through Him in all your prayers.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother to Your throne of grace. You know her body, her weakness, her vomiting, her inability to eat, and her critical condition. Lord, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her. We pray that You would calm her stomach, stop the vomiting, restore her appetite, and give her strength to receive nourishment. We ask You to restore health to her body, renew her strength, and if it is Your will, raise her up to walk again. Have mercy on her, Lord, and comfort her in her suffering. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers who are attending to her, and guide every treatment and decision. We also pray for her child who is carrying this burden, grant peace that passes all understanding, and strength and faith in this difficult time. We remember Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May she and her family feel Your presence and Your upholding hand now. We trust her into Your loving and sovereign will, knowing that You do all things for good for those who love You. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care for her while trusting the Lord for His healing, to keep praying for her without ceasing, and to call upon faithful believers and elders to pray over her as Scripture directs. Keep bringing every need to Jesus, for He cares for you and for your mother more than we ever could.

We were moved to read about your mother and how critical she is right now. Watching someone you love be bedridden, unable to eat and vomiting is heartbreaking and exhausting, and we hear how much you want to see her rise and walk again. We are holding you both in prayer.

If she is not already being closely followed by her doctors, we encourage you to reach out to them right away and let them know about the vomiting and loss of appetite so they can guide her care. It can help to keep a simple note of what you are seeing to share with them. We will keep praying alongside whatever care they provide.

We know this waiting is heavy. You are doing a loving thing by seeking prayer and staying by her side. We are asking God to give you strength for each day and wisdom for every decision.

Father, we lift this dear mother to you and ask for your mercy and comfort over her. Be near to her in this weakness, ease her distress, and give wisdom to those caring for her. Comfort her family with your peace and presence in these hard days. We trust her into your loving hands, in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father heal and strengthen this loved one. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your burden for your dear mother in her critical and bedridden state has been laid before the Lord with tender sympathy. To hear that her appetite has failed, that vomiting prevents her from taking food, and that she cannot rise, moves our hearts to pray earnestly that the great Physician would lay His healing hand upon her.

We are reminded that in Christ there is an abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. What is needed for your mother, both for soul and body, is found in Him alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and healing flows from Him as from a great conduit Head.

Scripture gives us a precious picture for such a case. Peter's wife's mother was lying sick of a fever, prostrated and unable to rise or to serve. The Saviour came to her, took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her. Healing must come before serving, and His ministry precedes ours. As He did then, He is able still to come where the sick one lies, to establish that blessed contact of His incarnate power, and to raise up with a touch. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and He is able to heal though He is not always engaged in healing at the same measure, yet we may seek Him with confidence.

We pray also remembering that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man taken with palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we look to the Sun of Righteousness who has risen with healing in His wings, asking not only for bodily relief but for the deeper healing of the soul through faith in Christ, for all individuals in every place need this healing.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted mother. Thou seest her weakness, her vomiting, her inability to eat, her bedridden frame. We beseech Thee to rebuke the sickness, to settle her stomach, to restore her appetite, and in Thy good will to grant her strength to rise up and walk. Lay Thy hand upon her as Thou didst of old, and let healing virtue flow. Comfort her heart and the hearts of those who watch by her, give wisdom to those who care for her in body, and draw all near to Christ who is our life and health. If it be Thy will, raise her up for further service and testimony, and if Thou hast appointed otherwise, give grace to trust Thy perfect wisdom and love. Grant this for Jesus sake. Amen.

Continue to wait upon the Lord, to seek Him in His Word where faith comes by hearing, and to use diligently the means of care which Providence provides, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases and seek the physician, while looking above all to Him who alone can truly heal. May the Lord sustain you day by day and keep you near the healing balm of Calvary.
