We join with you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord's healing hand and mercy upon her in this critical time. Our hearts are moved by your love for her and your desire to see her rise up and walk again, to eat and be strengthened. We know how helpless it feels to watch one we love suffer, unable to eat, weakened by vomiting and confined to bed, and we bring her before the Great Physician who sees and cares.
We are reminded in scripture that the Lord is our healer, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Even when the body is frail, we can trust that He is near, Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We want to gently share with you that we come to God only through His Son Jesus Christ. You asked for prayer, and we are honored to pray, yet we want you to know the assurance we have that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation and for your mother's care, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and that He intercedes for us even now.
We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care for your mother while you trust the Lord, using the skill He has given to doctors and caregivers, and to keep her as comfortable as you can, speaking words of comfort and hope over her and trusting God with each day. We pray that you will know His peace that passes understanding as you wait upon Him Philippians 4:7.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother who is bedridden and critically ill. Lord, You know her body, her weakness, her loss of appetite and the vomiting that prevents her from eating. We ask that You would have mercy and lay Your healing hand upon her. Restore her strength, calm her stomach, return her appetite, and nourish her body again. If it is Your will, we pray You would raise her up to walk again and give her life and health for Your glory. Lord, we pray for complete healing as You are able, for with You all things are possible. Your burden for your dear mother in her critical and bed ridden state has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to the great Physician.
We are grieved to hear that her appetite has failed her and that vomiting prevents her from taking food, and that she has no strength to rise up and walk. How helpless we are before such affliction, and how needful to look to Him who alone healeth all our diseases. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and we have such a Physician in our Lord Jesus Christ, whose power to heal was so manifest when He walked among men.
We remember how it is written that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. What we called ill is no longer ill to us when His grace abides in us, for He can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We remember also that blessed history of Peter's wife's mother, who was lying sick of a fever, and Jesus came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her. So still He is able to put forth His hand. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and with Him is abundance of healing power.

O Thou Sun of Righteousness, who didst rise with healing in Thy wings, look in mercy upon this afflicted mother. Thou knowest her frame, Thou seest her as she lies bed ridden, weak, unable to eat, afflicted with vomiting. Lord, if it be Thy gracious will, rebuke her sickness, restore her appetite, stay her vomiting, and give her strength to rise up and walk again. Lay Thy hand upon her as Thou didst upon Peter's wife's mother, and lift her up. We ask not as those who would command Thee, but as those who cast themselves upon Thy compassion and Thy sovereign wisdom.
We pray also for the healing of the soul, for we know that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. Forgive sin, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Grant to her and to all her household repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, that whether the body be healed for a little season on earth or perfect health be given in Thy nearer presence, she may be Thine forever.
