We have heard your request for healing from skin cancer and we are standing together with you in prayer, asking our great Physician to touch your body with His healing hand. We know a diagnosis like this can bring fear and uncertainty, but we take comfort that our God sees you, loves you, and is near to you in this trial.
We believe that God is still Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you, as He declares in Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you. His heart toward you is one of compassion and restoration. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 He promises, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Our greatest hope for healing is found in what Christ has done for us, for Isaiah 53:5 tells us, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Together we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You who is facing skin cancer. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would lay Your healing hand upon their body, that You would cleanse every affected cell and restore healthy skin and tissue. We pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical team, that every treatment would be effective and guided by Your hand. We pray for peace to guard their heart and mind, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Remove fear and fill them with Your comfort and strength, and let them feel Your presence each day. We ask that You would be glorified through this healing, and that their testimony would point others to Your power and mercy. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We also want to gently encourage you, as your request did not mention the name of Jesus, to remember that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive every spiritual blessing including salvation and healing. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. When we come to God through Jesus, we can come boldly and confidently knowing He hears our prayers.
We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care while also seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and to invite trusted believers and elders to pray over you as taught in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep trusting in His goodness whether healing comes instantly, through treatment, or ultimately in His perfect timing, for He works all things for good for those who love Him. We are continuing to pray with you for complete healing and restored health.
