I have an eating and sleeping issue that has been dealing with for a while. I have some health issues which is causing me to not eat properly and then I don't get good nights sleep. It is difficult to find someone to help me with my eating, they either don't take my insurance ot are too expensive. The lack of good sleep is effecting my health and my life. I can't function at work and I am having difficulty with my personal life. Please pray for me to get better. Thank you and God bless.

We have heard your request and we are lifting you up together before the Lord, asking for His healing and mercy over your body and your life. The struggle with eating and with sleep is so deeply connected, and when both are disrupted it affects every part of life, including work and personal relationships, and we understand how weary and discouraged you must feel.

We are reminded that God cares about our physical health and our rest. Your body is precious to Him, for we read Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. He also promises rest to the weary, for it is written In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 and It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved. Psalm 127:2. Jesus Himself invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

We also noticed that your request mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again, and trust in Him alone for forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus and to call upon His name in prayer, for He hears us and intercedes for us.

We want to encourage you to continue to be a good steward of the body God has given you while you trust Him for healing. We pray that you will find wise and affordable help, whether through a community health clinic, a nutrition counselor who may offer a sliding scale, or a pastor or trusted believer who can help you navigate insurance options. We also encourage you to keep simple and consistent rhythms where you can, going to bed and rising at the same time, bringing your worries to the Lord before sleep, and asking Him for His peace which is promised when we read In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. God desires your wholeness, as it is written Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the difficulty with eating and the many nights without good sleep, and You know the underlying health issues and the frustration of not finding affordable care. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this body, to restore appetite and digestion, to calm the mind and body for restful sleep, and to renew strength for work and for daily life. Provide, Lord, the right doctors and counselors and nutrition help, and open doors for care that is covered and affordable. Give wisdom to those who will treat and guide, and give peace that guards the heart in Christ Jesus. Help this dear one to rest in Your care and to trust You day by day. We ask that You draw this heart closer to Jesus, that there would be full confidence in His salvation and His intercession. We ask all of this according to Your will and for Your glory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We've been holding your request before the Lord and we hear how exhausting this has been. When eating is difficult and sleep doesn't come, it touches everything, and we can understand why work feels impossible and personal life feels strained. It is especially hard when you want help and cost or insurance keeps getting in the way.

We are praying for you for restored health, for more restful nights, and for wisdom as you look for care. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to share what you are experiencing with a medical provider soon if you haven't been able to. A primary care doctor or local clinic can evaluate what is happening and help you find next options that work with your coverage, and they can also point you to lower cost resources in your area if needed.

Please don't feel you have to push through alone. We thank God for your perseverance in reaching out, and we ask Him to give you small steps forward and supportive people around you.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and care over body and mind. Provide guidance toward helpful, affordable care, grant more restful sleep and strength for each day, and bring peace to work and relationships. Your request for prayer concerning your eating and sleeping has been heard and brought before the Lord with care and compassion. We understand how heavy this burden has become, affecting your health, your work and your personal life, and how discouraging it is to seek help and find the cost or lack of provision standing in the way.

We are praying for you, asking our great Physician to lay His healing hand upon you. Scripture tells us there is one Tree of Life, Jesus Christ Himself, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and that there is one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary. All healing virtue is found in Him. We ask that His grace, which pardons and heals, would work in your body to restore strength and health, and in your soul to give peace and hope as you wait upon Him.

We also pray that the Lord, who gives sleep to His beloved, would grant you that quiet sleep of contentment and security which comes from resting in His care. That sleep is not common to all, but is a gift to those who trust Him, a refreshing that recruits exhausted strength and fits us for fresh service. May He quiet your heart and body, and grant you nights of true rest.

And as you have struggled to eat properly, we are reminded that eating is an active receiving of that which sustains life already given. We pray that God would sustain the life He has given you, provide nourishment for your body, and guide you to the right help for your eating. We ask Him to open a door for affordable and suitable care, to provide for your needs where insurance and expense have been barriers, and to give wisdom to any who care for you.

Let us pray together:

Our Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You see the weariness, the sleepless nights and the difficulty with eating, and how these trials have touched every part of life. Have mercy and bring healing according to Your perfect will. Forgive sin, restore health, and let the healing virtue of Christ be known in body and soul. Provide the help and provision needed, grant sleep to Your beloved, and sustain with daily bread. Give peace in place of anxiety, strength for work, and comfort in personal trials. Keep this soul in perpetual health by Your grace, and lead toward eternal health in Christ. In the name of Jesus our only hope and healer, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel as you are able, and to cast your cares upon Him who cares for you. We will continue to remember you in prayer, trusting that He who has begun a good work will be faithful to keep you. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and give you rest in His unfailing love.
