Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs. 2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health

We have heard your burden for your parents and we join together with you in bringing them before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name.

Our hearts are moved by your love and concern for your mother as she battles diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, and for your father as he struggles with his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure issues. We know how heavy it can feel to watch those we love suffer, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer for their complete healing and restored health.

We take comfort in the promises of Scripture that God is our healer. We remember the words of Psalm 103:2-3, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. And Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you. Our God sees your mother and father, He knows every cell of their bodies, and nothing is hidden from Him.

We also want to gently share with you something precious. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to encourage you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive the gift of salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly bring every need to God.

We encourage you as you pray for your parents to also continue to seek wise medical care for them, for God often works through the hands of physicians and medicine. We pray for wisdom for their doctors, for the treatments to be effective, and for your parents to have strength and peace as they wait on the Lord. We also encourage you to cast your anxiety on Him, as Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother and father to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask You to touch this mother, to bring healing to her lungs and to clear this fungal infection completely. We pray You would help regulate her blood sugar and give her body strength to overcome diabetes and its effects. Lay Your healing hand upon her and restore her breath and health. Father, we also lift up this father to You. We ask You to improve his eyesight, to take away his headaches, to heal his urinary tract problems, to remove the swelling from his feet, and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. Lord, touch every part of his body that is suffering and bring wholeness. We pray for Your peace to guard both of them and this family that loves them, and for Your perfect will to be done in their lives. We ask for wisdom and compassion for their medical providers and for Your comfort to surround this family each day. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.

We will continue to keep your mother and father in our prayers, trusting that God hears us and that He is faithful. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in the name of Jesus, and may the Lord grant you peace as you watch His hand at work.

We hear how much you carry right now loving both your mother and your father through these health struggles. Watching a mother face diabetes and a lung infection, and a father deal with so many things at once, eyesight, headaches, urinary issues, swelling and blood pressure, can leave you feeling stretched and helpless, and we are holding all three of you before the Lord.

Chronic illness wears on the whole family, not just the one who is sick. Sleep gets broken, worry runs in the background, and it is easy to feel powerless when healing does not come quickly. Please know you do not have to hold this alone.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay closely connected to their medical care. If you are able, it can help to keep a simple notebook with their current medications, recent symptoms and questions to bring to each appointment, and to make sure their doctors know about any new or worsening changes promptly. A trusted family member, friend, or pastor who can go with you or check in regularly can also lighten the load.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and care as she is treated, and we lift this father to You for comfort and strength in each of the symptoms he is facing. Give this family wisdom for next steps, peace in the waiting, and the assurance of Your nearness each day. Sustain them and guide the hands of those caring for them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your dear parents has been brought before the Lord with sincere prayer, and we join you in lifting them up to the great Physician who alone can heal both body and soul.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, He comes with healing in His wings, and in Scripture we see that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon His people.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and soon urge us to seek a physician, yet how gracious it is that we have a heavenly Physician whose touch can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Christ links His healing with His teaching, so that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Therefore we have prayed for your mother, that the Lord in His mercy would look upon her in her diabetes and in this fungal infection of the lungs, that He would grant wisdom to those who care for her, ease her breathing, and restore her strength according to His perfect will. We have prayed also for your father, for his eyesight to be improved, for relief from headache, for healing of the urinary tract, for the swelling of his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for renewed health and comfort in his body.

We ask that the Lord would lay His hand upon them both, and lift them up as He lifted Peter's wife's mother from her fever, for healing must come from His hand before serving can follow. May He grant them not only bodily relief but the deeper healing of soul, for when Jesus healed the man taken with palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His gracious working.

Look then to Christ alone for all healing, and trust Him who is able to heal though He is not always engaged in healing at the same measure. Seek Him in His Word, rest upon His atoning blood, and know that the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till His people shall be without spot or wrinkle. May the Lord hear your cry, grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and manifest His power and compassion toward your mother and father for His own glory. Amen.
