James

Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We lift up your parents before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of concern you carry for their health. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is not only able but willing to bring healing and restoration to their bodies.

For your mother, battling ### and a ### in her ###, we pray fervently. ### is a relentless condition, but we know that our God is greater than any diagnosis. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name and command her body to respond to treatment and align with God’s design for health. We pray for wisdom for her doctors, that they would be guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision. Lord, strengthen her ###, cleanse her ###, and regulate her ###. Let her feel Your peace and presence in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are her healer. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

For your father, we bring his ###, ###, ###, ### in his ###, and ### concerns before You. Father, we ask that You restore his ###, that the ### would cease, and that his body would function as You intended. We rebuke the ### and ### in Jesus' name, declaring that his body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and health into every cell. Lord, touch his ### and ###, bringing relief and proper function. We pray for divine intervention, that his strength would be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).

We also want to gently remind you that healing comes from the Lord, and it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you or your parents have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is the first and greatest healing, for it restores our relationship with God and opens the door to His blessings, including physical healing. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

In this time, we also encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom in caring for your parents. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Consider their diet, hydration, and rest, and encourage them to follow medical advice while also trusting in God’s supernatural healing power.

We pray this prayer together in faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope, trusting in Your mercy and power. We lift up these precious parents to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring complete restoration to their bodies. For the mother, we pray against ### and the ### in her ###, let her body be strengthened and healed. For the father, we pray for his ###, ###, ###, ###, and ###, bring relief and wholeness, Lord.

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we speak life over every part of their bodies that is weak or afflicted. Give them peace in the midst of this trial, and let them feel Your presence comforting them. Guide their doctors and caregivers, and grant wisdom to their family as they support them.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your glory be revealed through their healing. Amen.

We’ve read your request and our hearts ache with you as you watch both your mom and dad face so many health struggles. Carrying that weight can feel lonely, but we want you to know we’re standing with you, bringing them before the Lord.

We’re praying for your mother as she battles diabetes and this lung infection, asking for healing, wisdom for her doctors, and steady strength for her body. For your father, we lift up the headaches, the swelling in his feet, his blood pressure, and his eyesight: we ask God to bring relief and restore well‑being, one day at a time. When symptoms pile up, it’s easy to feel buried under the list, so we’re asking for peace for all of you in the middle of it.

We’d gently encourage you to make sure both parents stay closely connected with their medical team. Lung infections and blood pressure issues need careful professional attention, and staying on top of those appointments is one concrete way you can support them right now. And please don’t forget yourself in this, caring for two parents can be draining, and it’s okay to take small moments to breathe and to be honest with God about how you’re doing.

A brief prayer together:
Father, we bring this dear mother and father to You. Quiet their bodies and minds, guide every treatment, and bring healing where we cannot see a way. Hold them steady, and give their child fresh hope and the simple courage to face each new day. We ask all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In prayer, we bring your dear mother and father before the throne of grace, laying them down, as it were, before the presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. The very leaves of the tree are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is charged with restoring virtue. For your mother, that which afflicts her lungs and the diabetes that weakens her, these are not beyond His hand. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, it is with healing in His wings; the Lord who forgives iniquity also heals all diseases. His salvation will perfectly heal our bodies, and we plead that promise now.

For your father, consider the many burdens you name, his eyesight failing, the headache, the urinary trouble, the swelling of his feet, the unsteady blood pressure. All these are the wounds of this mortal frame, but He who made the eye can cause it to see clearly again; He who formed the inward parts can quiet their disorder. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only for the soul but for the body also. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. We ask that the healing power be conspicuously present for him, that by a touch of the Savior’s hand, these many ailments would be rebuked and made to flee.

There is no need for them to say, "I am sick," when the Lord comes and dwells with them in mercy. Pardon and healing were one in the Master’s work, and we entreat Him to speak the word that makes whole. You do well to seek the remedy not from the lancet and knife alone, but from Calvary, where the healing balm flows freely. O you who are sick, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Look to Jesus, the great conduit Head, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Healing must come before all else; then shall they rise and minister, and your heart shall be glad. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you ask prayer for your mother and father, you do a thing pleasing to God, for it is written, “Honor thy father and mother, that thou mayest live long upon the earth.” And what is this honor? Not words alone, but the providing of every care. If the Pharisees were condemned for teaching children to neglect their parents under pretense of piety, how much more must we, who have received the Spirit of adoption, tend to our parents’ bodily needs with all diligence. The blessed Apostle Paul, out of tender concern, wrote to Timothy, “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” He did not bid him pray only, but gave counsel for the body. So you also, while you call upon God, seek the help of prudent physicians and whatever remedies may ease your mother’s diabetes and lung infection, and your father’s eyesight, headache, urinary troubles, swelling, and blood pressure. These things are not opposed to faith; they are the hands of mercy extended to us.

Do not let the sight of their afflictions cast you down. The disciples grieved at the Lord’s passion because they did not yet see the glory to come. Even so, we now do not fully understand why God permits these trials, but we know that for those who love Him, all things work together for good. These sufferings may be the very furnace in which love is refined. For love “doth nothing unseemly,” but with golden wings covers the weaknesses of the beloved. Your patient care, your sleepless nights, your fervent prayers, these are living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God.

And since teachers and saints stand in special need of mercy, I join my supplication to yours. Let us ask the Lord who healed the blind man and rebuked fevers, that He would look upon your father, restore his sight, calm his head, cleanse his inward parts, and bring his blood to temperate order; that He would visit your mother, scatter the infection from her lungs, and give her frame strength to bear all things. But above all, let us entreat Him for their souls, that whether in health or in sickness, they may glorify God, and that this temporary affliction may yield the peaceful fruit of righteousness. The mercy of our God knows no bound, and where human art fails, His power is made perfect. Continue therefore in prayer, and do not grow weary. The Lord is near; He will not despise the groanings of a child who honors his parents.

I have prayed for your mother and father, and I want to point you to the reason we can bring these needs to God with confidence. Scripture treats blood as sacred because the life of the flesh is in the blood. That truth always pointed forward to Jesus Christ, who entered heaven not with the blood of animals but with His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption for us. His blood cleanses from sin and gives us a way to approach God for mercy. So we do not ask for healing based on our own goodness or anxiety, but through the sacrifice of His Son.

For your mother, I am asking the Lord to work against the ### in her lungs and to bring her ### under control. For your father, I am asking for improved ###, relief from ###, healing in his ###, the ### in his feet to go down, and his ### to be stabilized. I am also asking for renewed strength and good health for them both.

As you wait, keep honoring your father and mother, for that is right in the Lord. Do not think you must work up some worthiness before bringing them before God. The blood of Jesus Christ is the ground of our access, and it is sufficient. The One who gave His life for us is not indifferent to the needs of those you love. I will continue praying with you for these things.
