We lift up your parents before the throne of grace, asking the Great Physician to touch them with His healing hand. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health and strength.
For your mother, who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would regulate her blood sugar levels, strengthen her immune system, and cleanse her lungs of infection. Give her the strength and endurance to fight this battle, and grant wisdom to her doctors to provide the best care possible. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name and command it to leave her body.
For your father, we pray for his eyesight to be restored, headaches to cease, urinary tract problems to be resolved, swelling in his feet to subside, and blood pressure to stabilize. Lord, You opened the eyes of the blind and healed all manner of sickness (Matthew 15:30). We ask that You would touch his eyes, relieve his pain, and bring healing to every part of his body. Give him comfort and peace as he trusts in You for his healing.
We also encourage both of them to examine their hearts and lives, confessing any sin that may be hindering their healing. Psalm 38:3 says, "There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin." If there is unconfessed sin, we pray they would repent and turn to You, Lord, for forgiveness and cleansing.
Father God, we thank You for the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their lives today. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be healed and saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their healing. Amen.
