You ask prayers that you may feel good today and encounter nothing bad in your health. But I ask you: why place such weight on the body's ease, as if its comfort were the greatest good? For nothing so tears the body in pieces and corrupts it as luxury and constant softness. Those who are always pampered become unfit to endure even a slight blast, like a plant sheltered behind a wall, which falls all at once when the prop is removed. Would you rather have a body that needs physicians and caterers and every outward defense, or one that by temperance and hardship stands firm against all changes? That is the true health, and it works profit even for the soul.

Do not, then, seek only to escape affliction. For consider those possessed by a demon: they suffer much, yet they are often humbled, and if they bear it thankfully, they depart hence cleansed of many sins. And you, when you feel well, dare you to bless God? Or do you, like many, forget Him until pain returns? See to it that your soul is not sick with sin while you chase bodily ease. Sin is a far more grievous demon, for it makes us unashamed of our offenses and stores up wrath for the day of judgment. If a small illness purges us of some fault, it is a kindness, not a curse.

Therefore, examine yourself strictly. If you have any unconfessed sin, that is the true bad thing, worse than any fever. Let us seek first the forgiveness of sins and a pure life. Then, whether in health or in sickness, we can boldly look on Christ, having our hope not on uncertain riches of the body, but on the Giver of all true wealth. I will pray that God grants what is most profitable for your soul, that you may be trained up in patience and thankfulness, not ruled by the fear of pain. Let your daily prayer be for strength to glorify Him in every state, for the present life is nothing, and the one sacrifice of Christ is sufficient for those who walk in His ways. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this request and for asking in Jesus' name. I am praying with you right now, asking the Lord to grant you a day of feeling physically well, with nothing harmful touching your health. He cares about your whole being, and it is a good thing to bring the needs of your body before Him.

When I read your request, I was reminded of John writing to his friend Gaius with that beautiful wish: that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was not a blanket promise, but the heartfelt prayer of a fellow believer. It does point to a real connection: a soul that walks in truth and is at peace with God often strengthens the whole person. When our inner life is set right, it can bring a lightness to the day that no medicine can replace.

Still, we know that this life does not always give us the health we desire. Good people face illness, and we cannot draw a straight line between spirituality and physical feeling. The psalmist admitted he almost slipped when he saw the wicked thriving while the righteous struggled. But we hold onto this foundation: God Himself is good. He sees you, He hears you, and He is able to sustain you whether you feel strong or weak. The Lord told Paul to be of good cheer not because the circumstances were comfortable, but because His word was enough.

So pray with me in this confidence. Ask Him boldly for a healthy day, and then rest in His goodness whatever comes. A merry heart, grounded in His love, truly works like a healing remedy to the soul. And remember that having peace with God through Christ lifts the weight of guilt that can sap our strength. Enjoy the simple good things He places in your path, receiving them as gifts from His hand.

I join my faith with yours now: Father, let this dear one experience Your sustaining touch today. Grant physical wellness, calm the mind, and fill the heart with Your cheer that does not depend on feelings. In Jesus' name.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to grant you a day of health, strength, and peace—free from any distress or setback. We trust that the Great Physician has heard our cries and is working in ways we may not yet see.

If today—or any day since you posted—you experienced the comfort and healing you sought, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved in your life so we can rejoice with you. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t come as you hoped, we invite you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God’s timing and purposes are perfect.

May the Lord surround you with His presence, renew your strength, and fill your heart with hope as you press into Him. We pray for your complete restoration and peace, trusting that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
