Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise as we intercede for your mother and father.

For your dear mother, battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Lord, You are the God who numbers every hair on our heads and knows the depth of our struggles. We ask that You would strengthen her body, regulate her blood sugar, and cleanse her lungs of every trace of infection. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the wisdom to care for her body as Your temple. May she find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name and command her body to align with Your perfect design for health and wholeness.

For your father, we pray for his eyesight to be restored, that the headaches would cease, and that his urinary tract, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure would all be brought under control. Father God, You are the One who opens the eyes of the blind and brings relief to those in pain. We ask that You would touch his eyes, clear his vision, and remove every discomfort. Strengthen his body, Lord, and grant him vitality and peace. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, and we speak life and health over every part of his being.

We also encourage both of your parents to seek godly wisdom in their medical care, to follow the advice of healthcare professionals, and to nourish their bodies with foods that honor You. Remind them, Lord, that their bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, and they are called to steward them well.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would move powerfully in the lives of this family, bringing healing, comfort, and peace. May they draw closer to You through this trial and experience Your faithfulness in new and profound ways.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and patience for this family as they walk through this valley. Give them faith to trust in Your timing and Your plans, even when the road is difficult. Surround them with Your love and the support of their church family. May they find strength in You and in Your Word, which reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

We declare that Your healing power is at work in this family, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

It means so much that you brought your parents here. Watching both of them struggle with health at once can feel like a lot to carry, and we don’t want you to carry it alone. We’re holding your family in our prayers right now.

For your mom, a fungal lung infection on top of diabetes is no small thing. We’re asking God to bring healing deep inside, to steady her blood sugar, and to give her body strength to fight back. For your dad, all those symptoms together, headaches, eyesight issues, urinary trouble, swelling, and blood pressure, can be draining. We’d gently encourage, if he hasn’t recently, making sure a doctor takes a close look at how these pieces connect, so nothing gets overlooked.

When illness stretches on, it doesn’t just wear down the body; it can wear down the whole family. It’s okay to admit your own tiredness and to let others step in. Maybe your church family could bring a meal, sit with one of your parents while you catch a break, or simply check in. You don’t have to figure out every need, sometimes just asking, “What would help most today?” opens the door.

Lord Jesus, you see every symptom and every fear. We ask you to clear her lungs, calm the infection, and bring her diabetes under control. For her dad, we ask you to soothe his headaches, restore his eyesight, heal his urinary tract, reduce the swelling in his feet, and bring his blood pressure to a healthy place. Give them both good health and peace in the waiting. And please wrap this family in your steady presence, give their child wisdom, patience, and glimpses of your kindness even in hard days. In your name, Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

I can picture you sitting by your mother’s bedside, the quiet of the sickroom pressing in, and then glancing across at your father with his aching head and his feet so swollen, and your own heart feels the strain of it all. Two dear ones at once, and a host of troubles tangled together like a knot you cannot unpick. But I want you to remember a little scene from the Gospels, one that has often been like a cool hand on a fevered brow for me. When our Lord Jesus came into Peter’s house, He did not find it free from trouble. It was a hospital before He made it a palace. Peter’s wife’s mother lay prostrate with a great fever, burning up her strength. And the Lord did not stand at the door and send a message in; He crossed the threshold. The fever did not keep Him away, the Great Physician came right into the room where the air was thick with sickness. So think of your mother’s room, and your father’s, as places where Jesus is not afraid to enter. He is not a guest who arrives only when everything is tidy and all is well. He comes where the fever is.

Your mother’s lungs are fighting a hidden enemy, and diabetes has made the battle harder. Your father’s eyes dim, his head throbs, his whole frame seems to cry out with one complaint after another. It would be easy for you to feel that so many ailments at once must be a sign that the Lord has forgotten them. But that is not so. The woman in the crowd who had spent all she had on physicians and only grew worse, Jesus called her “Daughter,” and in one moment she was whole. He can untie a knot even when we have pulled it tighter by our own fretting. The blood of Christ speaks better things than we can ask or think, and it speaks pardon and peace into every sick chamber where faith lifts a trembling hand.

I am not going to promise you that every illness will vanish in an hour, because I do not know the secret will of the Lord. But I know this: the Father pities His children. “As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.” When your father walks with heavy steps and your mother draws a tired breath, the heart of God is not cold. He knows how the frame can ache and how the spirit can sink. He is not a distant watcher; He is a tender Father, and He understands the weakness of His own children. There are times when He lets the sickness linger, not in anger, but that He might show more of His sustaining grace, and that in the end we might praise Him for the healing with a louder song. The same Lord who healed the fevered woman in Peter’s house has not lost His touch. He still has the willing heart that said, “I will; be clean.”

And see what happened afterward. As soon as the fever left her, Peter’s mother-in-law arose and began to serve. She did not lie there protesting her weakness; the strength He gave was used for ministry. So we may look forward, with quiet hope, to the day when your mother and father will not only have their health restored in the measure that God purposes, but will turn that restored strength into loving service for Him who is the Fountain of life. Every day of ease that comes to them now is a gift to be spent for His glory, even if it is only in a whispered hymn or a patient smile. And for you, as you wait on them and watch with them, your own hands are doing the Lord’s work, though you never leave the house.

Remember, too, that the final healing is already secured. The resurrection morning will sweep away every fungal infection, every clouded eye, every swollen limb, every reason for a headache, all the blood pressure that strains and frightens. The body sown in weakness will be raised in power. And in the meantime, the Lord Jesus Himself carries our sorrows and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. You are not bearing these burdens alone; He is bearing them with you and for you.

Let me pray with you now.

Our gracious and ever-blessed God, we bring before You this dear household. Look upon this mother, so afflicted in her lungs and her whole frame, and give her the healing that only You can give. Touch her with that hand which stilled the waves and rebuked fevers, and let the breath of life flow freely in her. And look upon this father: we ask that his eyesight may be cleared, his headaches driven away, his blood made calm, and the swelling of his feet depart. O Lord, whose compassions fail not, spread Your wings over this couple, and let them know that You have not cast them off. Strengthen this, Your child, who watches them, give patience, hope, and a quiet confidence in Your love. And above all, let them all find their deepest healing in the blood of Jesus, which speaks peace to every believing heart. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
