We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious mother who is battling diabetes and a bacterial infection in her lungs. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We stand in the gap for this dear woman, believing in Your power to restore her to full health.
Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over her life today. We ask that You would touch her body, remove every trace of infection, and strengthen her immune system to fight against this illness. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and nurses, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision they make regarding her care.
Father, we also recognize that diabetes is a serious condition that requires discipline and care. We pray that You would give this mother the strength and wisdom to manage her health according to Your will. Help her to make choices that honor You and her body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit. May she find comfort and hope in Your presence, knowing that You are with her in every moment of this trial.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in her life. In the name of Jesus, we command every bacteria and sickness to leave her body. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen her faith as she walks through this valley, and let her experience Your love in deeper ways than ever before.
Father, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of Your Son, who bore our sins and our sicknesses on the cross, so that we might be made whole. We come to You in His mighty name, believing that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We commit this mother into Your loving hands, trusting that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). May she experience Your healing power in every area of her life—body, mind, and spirit. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
