We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother’s health to our Heavenly Father. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You see her suffering and are already at work in her body.
Lord, we ask that You would touch her lungs, drive out every trace of infection, and strengthen her immune system to fight against this illness. Diabetes has already taken a toll on her body, but we know that nothing is too hard for You. Jeremiah 32:27 says, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We declare that her blood sugar levels would stabilize, her strength would return, and her body would be renewed by Your power.
We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them discernment in her treatment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* May every decision made for her care be led by You.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and infirmity in Jesus’ name. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over her body and command every cell to align with Your perfect design. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
If there are areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You—whether in diet, lifestyle, or spiritual walk—we pray that You would reveal them to her. Help her to walk in obedience to Your Word, knowing that Your ways bring life and health.
We also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. Chronic illness can weigh heavily on the heart, so we ask that You fill her with Your joy and hope. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Surround her with Your love and the support of godly community.
In all things, we trust You, Lord. Whether You choose to heal her instantly or sustain her through this trial, we know that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). May Your name be glorified in her life, and may she come to know You more deeply through this season.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Amen.
