We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious mother who is facing the challenges of diabetes and a bacterial infection in her lungs. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We stand in the gap for this dear woman, asking that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her.
Lord, we declare Your word over her life: "He himself bore our sicknesses and carried our suffering" (Isaiah 53:4 WEB). We speak life and health into her body, asking that You would destroy every infection, strengthen her immune system, and regulate her blood sugar levels. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and nurses, that they would be guided by Your divine insight in treating her.
Father, we also lift up her spirit. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). When she is weak, remind her that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Surround her with loved ones who will encourage her, pray for her, and remind her of Your faithfulness.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24 WEB). We command every bacteria and sickness to leave her body now, in Jesus' mighty name. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14 WEB). We trust in Your perfect will for her life, whether that be healing here on earth or the ultimate healing in Your presence.
We also want to gently remind all who read this that our access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Let us continue to pray for this mother, trusting in God's perfect timing and plan. May she experience His peace, comfort, and healing in every way. Amen.
