We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious mother who is facing the trials of diabetes and a bacterial infection in her lungs. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her.
Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to restore her health completely. We rebuke this infection in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave her body and for her lungs to be cleansed and strengthened. We pray for her blood sugar levels to stabilize, that her body would respond to treatment, and that she would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also ask that You would give wisdom to her doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your Spirit in every decision they make concerning her treatment. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your love and comfort in this difficult time. Strengthen her faith, and remind her that You are with her always, even in the valley of the shadow of death.
Father, we know that our times are in Your hands, and we trust You with her life. If it is Your will, we ask for complete healing and restoration. But above all, we pray that Your perfect will would be done in her life, and that she would draw closer to You through this trial. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved.
To the one who submitted this request, we want to encourage you with the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We also encourage you to seek the support of your local church community, as they can provide practical help and further prayer during this time.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, and may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. We continue to stand in the gap for this dear mother, trusting in the Lord's unfailing love and mercy.
