We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see her suffering and are moved with compassion.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her. Strengthen her body, fight off the infection in her lungs, and regulate her blood sugar. Give wisdom to her doctors and nurses, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision they make. We pray for comfort and peace to surround her, easing her pain and filling her with Your presence. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over her life.
We also ask that You would draw near to her in this time of weakness. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. For it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no healing, no peace, and no eternal life apart from Jesus. We pray she would surrender her heart to Him, if she has not already, and experience the fullness of Your love and grace.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in her life. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed." We speak life and restoration over her body, mind, and spirit.
We also encourage you, as her loved one, to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Continue to pray without ceasing, and stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for good.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We trust You to bring healing and wholeness to our sister in Christ. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
