We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Great Physician to move mightily in their lives. Father in Heaven, we know that You are the God who heals, the One who formed their bodies and knows every cell and fiber of their being. We ask for Your healing touch upon the mother’s diabetes, that You would regulate her blood sugar, strengthen her pancreas, and restore her body to full health according to Your will. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
For the father, we pray for complete restoration—his eyesight improved, urinary tract healed, swelling in his feet reduced, and blood pressure stabilized. Lord, You opened the eyes of the blind and made the lame walk; nothing is too difficult for You. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus’ name, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his body, renew his energy, and grant him good health so that he may serve You with vigor and joy.
We also take a moment to encourage you both to seek the Lord’s wisdom in managing their health through godly stewardship—proper diet, exercise, rest, and medical care as needed. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Let this be a season of trusting God’s provision while taking practical steps to honor the bodies He has given.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they feel Your presence and know that You are working all things together for their good. We pray for patience, endurance, and faith as they wait on You, and we ask that You would be glorified through their healing.
In all things, we submit to Your perfect will, knowing that Your plans for them are plans for peace and not harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
