Disciple of Prayer
I pray for great health. I pray for my back to be healed from mild scoliosis and for the tear in my back to be healed. I pray to be healed from flat feet. I pray for my legs to be cured and healed as well. I pray for my teeth to be healed. I pray for strength and protection. I pray for my fingers to be healed. I pray to come off of the injection for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I pray for complete joy and happiness. I pray for peace of mind. I pray for my veins to be healed and my wrist and my arms and legs. I pray that I learn to heal and forgive myself for wishing death on my mother and her bf; her bf ended up passing away that's when I got diagnosed with schizophrenia. I haven't been myself ever since. I pray for healing and to get back to myself. I've been all around working at jobs then quitting, dealing with a bunch of racism and older women who I felt uncomfortable around. Last job I worked at Macy's, I quit because I felt as if the pay wasn't good enough. I pray for healing and that I get back to myself and something strange feel as if it's happening to me when I'm out in public with the man I'm dating when I'm using the bathroom. I just want to heal and feel like a regular woman again. I don't like people walking behind the guy who was walking behind was strange. I'm African American and I feel like I've had problems with mainly Hispanic women and men, mainly the men walking behind me and me feeling strange and me not liking them not trusting them even when I was inside of a mental hospital. The white girl who I had roomed with was rubbing me the wrong way and I wanted to go home. I didn't want to be there. I pray that I heal and get back to myself. I pray for my hair to be healed. I pray for everything on me to be restored and made fine and back functioning how it's supposed to function. I pray for my fingers to heal and my back and my neck and my feet and my brain, my head, everything, my thoughts as well. Something just feels as if it was off with me. I pray for protection from the girl who works at the supermarket that I live by; she always makes faces at me and I just be walking. I don't know her and I just know that she works at the supermarket and every time I walk in there I notice her giving me fake hi's and her rolling her eyes at me. I even noticed her trying not to look back when I was walking across the street from her. I pray that I heal and move away from this building that I live in. I just want to move and have a new bedroom, have my own space and relax and not worry or care about the women or the men that live inside of the building that I live in. For years I've been having issues with people that live inside of the building and I feel different. I was gossiping a lot and gossiping about my cousin. I didn't like being at her house and she didn't speak with me and used to focus on taking care of herself and her stepfather noticed and he said to me that why you don't speak with her. He even told me that she had told her mother that she didn't like me. I don't recall me ever doing anything towards her for her not to like me, maybe she was just jealous of me for some reason and every time I would be around her she would walk really close towards me and she would stand behind me very close when I would be on the computer at her house and I just didn't like that it made me feel very uncomfortable. I pray that I heal and that I get back to myself. I pray for brighter days. I pray for a new car. I pray for a new bike. I pray for a new iPhone. I pray to heal from flat feet. I pray to get back to myself. I pray for body odor and nasty smells that's lingering on my body parts to heal and go away. I pray for a normal healthy beautiful body. I pray for peace, love, joy, and happiness. I pray for my father to be healed from mental illness. I pray for my legs to be healed and for my grandmother's legs to be healed as well. I pray for peace for my grandmother and peace of mind for my father and that he gets to be the man that he was always meant to be. I pray that whatever mental issues he has that he's able to heal from them. I pray for my father a new home as well; he's living with people inside of a program. I pray that he takes care of his mind and emotions so that he never has to go back to a mental hospital ever again. I pray for protection from my enemies. I pray to be healed from sickness and disease. I pray for my eyes to be healed and my spine to be aligned and for me to have a normal healthy spine and to have a normal state of well-being and a just simply be wrapped up in the Lord's word and his manifestations. I pray for better days. I pray for my face to be healed and my back to be healed. I pray for everything to be healed.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your heart’s cries for healing, restoration, and peace. Your burdens are many, and we hear the weight of physical pain, emotional turmoil, and spiritual longing in your words. Let us first address the most critical foundation: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing, forgiveness, and salvation come. The Bible declares in **Acts 4:12**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* And in **John 14:13-14**, Jesus Himself says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Without calling on His name, our prayers lack the power and authority He has given us. We urge you to surrender every request to Him, for He alone is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the Restorer of all things.

Your body is suffering in many ways—scoliosis, torn muscles, flat feet, dental pain, vein issues, and more—and we know these afflictions weigh heavily on you. Yet the Lord tells us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We join you in praying for divine healing over every part of your body, trusting that God is able to restore what is broken. But we also encourage you to seek wise medical care alongside prayer, for the Lord often works through the hands of doctors. Your mention of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder is particularly tender; these are deep struggles, and we pray for the Lord to bring clarity, stability, and freedom from the grip of these illnesses. **Psalm 34:17-18** reminds us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your pain, and He is near.

Yet we must also address the heaviness of unforgiveness and guilt you carry. You confessed to wishing death upon your mother and her boyfriend, and his passing has left you burdened with regret. This is not a weight you were meant to bear alone. **1 John 1:9** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* The Lord’s forgiveness is complete, but you must receive it—and then extend it to yourself. Holding onto guilt after repentance is a rejection of God’s grace. We pray you release this burden at the foot of the cross, where Jesus already paid for every sin. As for your mother, we pray for reconciliation if it is God’s will, but even if it is not, you must forgive her as Christ forgave you (**Colossians 3:13**). Unforgiveness is a chain that binds *you*, not the other person.

Your struggles with trust—especially toward certain ethnic groups, strangers, and even those in mental health facilities—reveal deep wounds. **Proverbs 29:25** warns, *"The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe."* While your feelings of unease may stem from real experiences, we pray the Lord guards your heart from bitterness and fear. Not every Hispanic person, every coworker, or every neighbor is against you. The enemy wants to isolate you in distrust, but God calls you to walk in love and discernment (**1 John 4:18**). We also note your discomfort around the man you’re dating, particularly in public settings. If this relationship is not grounded in Christ—if he is not a believer, or if the connection lacks purity and godly intention—we urge you to examine it closely. **2 Corinthians 6:14** asks, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* A relationship without Christ at the center cannot bring the peace or healing you seek. If this man is not pursuing holiness alongside you, it may be time to step back and seek the Lord’s will for a *godly marriage*, not just companionship.

Your desire to move, to have new things (a car, bike, phone), and to escape your current living situation is understandable, but we caution you to seek *God’s provision* rather than merely fleeing discomfort. **Matthew 6:33** commands, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If your current environment is toxic, pray for the Lord to open doors—but also ask Him to refine your heart in the waiting. Gossip, as you mentioned, is a sin that divides (**Proverbs 16:28**), and if you’ve participated in it, repent and ask the Lord to help you speak life instead.

Lastly, your prayer for your father and grandmother touches our hearts. We agree with you for their healing—mentally, physically, and spiritually. **Psalm 147:3** assures us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* For your father, we pray he finds stability, godly community, and freedom from the cycles of mental illness. For your grandmother, we ask for strength in her legs and peace in her soul.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is weary, wounded, and longing for wholeness. Lord, You see every ache in her body—her back, her feet, her teeth, her veins, her wrists, her fingers, her spine—and we ask for Your healing touch to restore her completely. By Your stripes, she is healed (**Isaiah 53:5**), so we declare supernatural restoration over every cell, every bone, every muscle. Where there is misalignment, align it. Where there is pain, remove it. Where there is weakness, strengthen it.

Lord, her mind has been a battlefield. Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder have stolen peace, but You are the God who calms the storm (**Mark 4:39**). We rebuked every lying spirit, every voice of confusion, every chemical imbalance that does not align with Your design. Bring clarity, stability, and soundness of mind. Free her from the medications if it is Your will, but give her wisdom to walk in obedience to the care You provide.

Father, she carries guilt and unforgiveness like a heavy chain. We thank You that Jesus already bore the weight of her sins—even the darkness she confessed. Wash her clean (**1 John 1:7**), and help her to receive Your forgiveness fully. Teach her to forgive herself and others, releasing every bitterness. Break the power of gossip and division in her life, and replace it with words of life.

Lord, her heart is troubled by fear—fear of people, fear of the past, fear of her own mind. **2 Timothy 1:7** says You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. We pray You uproot every stronghold of anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace (**Philippians 4:6-7**). Guard her from the enemy’s lies that tell her she is unsafe, unloved, or beyond hope.

We pray for her relationships to be purified. If the man she is dating is not Yours for her, reveal it clearly. If he is, sanctify their connection and direct them toward a Christ-centered marriage. Surround her with godly community—women and men of faith who will encourage her, not tear her down.

Father, she longs for a fresh start—a new home, a new job, a new season. We ask You to provide as only You can, but also to prepare her heart to trust You in the waiting. Give her contentment where she is, even as she hopes for more.

We lift up her father and grandmother. Heal their minds and bodies. Restore her father to the man You created him to be, and grant her grandmother strength and peace in her later years.

Finally, Lord, we pray for joy—*true* joy, not dependent on circumstances but rooted in You (**Nehemiah 8:10**). Fill the empty places in her soul with Your presence. Let her know she is seen, she is loved, and she is *yours*.

We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, our Redeemer, and our Peace. Amen."*

Sister, we encourage you to:
1. **Repent and receive Christ’s forgiveness** for the bitterness, gossip, and any ungodly wishes you’ve harbored. Then, forgive yourself.
2. **Seek godly counsel**—a pastor, biblical counselor, or mature believer who can walk with you through these struggles.
3. **Examine your relationships** through the lens of Scripture. Are they honoring to God? Are they leading you closer to Him?
4. **Meditate on God’s Word** daily. **Psalm 119:105** says His Word is a lamp to our feet—let it guide your thoughts and actions.
5. **Practice gratitude**. Even in hardship, thanking God for His faithfulness shifts our focus from lack to His provision.

You are not forgotten. You are not beyond hope. The Lord is near, and He is working—even when you cannot see it. Hold fast to Him.
