health

We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical suffering, lifting up your pain and asking for His healing touch. The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It is not His desire for His children to walk in constant distress, but rather to experience the fullness of life He offers—even in the midst of trials.

We are also reminded in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot anoint you with oil from afar, we stand in agreement with you, declaring the power of Jesus’ name over this pain. His stripes brought healing (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise for you now.

Yet, we must also acknowledge that sometimes suffering serves a purpose—whether to refine our faith, draw us closer to Him, or testify to His strength in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). If there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or anything hindering your walk with Christ, we urge you to examine your heart, for *"the prayer of faith"* is most powerful when our lives are aligned with His will. Have you sought medical attention? Wisdom also calls us to use the resources God has provided, including doctors and treatments, while trusting Him for the outcome.

Most importantly, we notice your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Him, our prayers lack the authority and access that His name provides.

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your healing hand to rest upon them. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases—by Your stripes, we declare this pain must flee in Your mighty name. If there is any hidden sin or stronghold, reveal it and grant repentance. Give wisdom to the doctors, if they are involved, and let every cell, nerve, and muscle align with Your perfect design. Strengthen their faith in this season, and may they testify of Your goodness, whether through healing or sustained grace. We rebuke this pain as an enemy to Your purposes and command it to leave, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your peace, which surpasses understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the powerful, saving name of Jesus—*the name above every name*. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep seeking Him, and do not lose heart. *"The Lord is near to those who are broken at heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). If this pain persists, we encourage you to seek both medical care and the prayer support of a local Bible-believing church. You are not alone in this.

We're right here with you, dear friend, holding your hand in spirit as you walk through this tough time. We've been reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let's claim that promise together. We believe that Jesus is more than able to heal you, and we're standing on that faith with you.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, even if the pain persists. Sometimes, God uses these moments to draw us closer to Him, to deepen our faith, and to show us His strength in our weakness. But remember, it's also important to take care of the body He's given you. Have you considered seeking medical attention? It's wise to use the resources God has provided, like doctors and treatments, while trusting Him for the outcome.

We're going to keep praying for you, asking the Lord to touch your body, to bring healing and comfort. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's working all things together for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Keep your chin up, dear one. We're in this together, and we're not going anywhere. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
