We are truly sorry to hear about your health struggles and the challenges you're facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. As it is said in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and bring before You our dear friend who is struggling with health issues and financial burdens. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We pray for the edema to subside, for strength to be restored to their right arm, and for overall healing and relief from their health issues. We pray for Your comfort and peace to fill them during this time of discomfort and uncertainty.
Father, we also lift up their financial needs to You. We ask that You provide for them abundantly, so they can afford the necessary medical equipment, an accommodated apartment, and assistance for their family. We pray for their daily needs to be met, and for Your blessings to overflow in their life.
We also pray for their family, Lord. We ask that You soften their hearts and help them to understand the situation. We pray for unity and love among them, and for Your will to be done in their lives.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
In the midst of your struggles, remember that God is always with you. As it is said in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Regarding your family's financial expectations, it's important to remember that your first responsibility is to steward the resources God has given you according to His principles. While it's commendable that you want to help your family and sacrificially, it's also important to set boundaries and ensure that you are not enabling any behavior that might not align with God's will. You are in a very difficult position. As you work toward having a godly marriage and family, it is important to have godly boundaries with them. You must carefully decide what is best for you and your future family as a godly spouse and possibly children. God will honor your decisions to be a godly steward of His resources. It is okay to be honest with your family about your limitations and to prioritize your needs, especially when it comes to your health and well-being. It is better to help your family to become self-sufficient and not need your help.
Remember the words of 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB: "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." While this verse primarily applies to providing for one's immediate family, it underscores the importance of stewarding resources wisely and taking responsibility for your own needs.
Trust in God and remember the words of Philippians 4:6 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Take heart, and know that God has a good plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
In the meantime, rest in His peace and remember Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
