Disciple of Prayer
Good morning
While I sit here and wait for my ### to get ready for school, I am in need of prayer for my health and my better half, while he has had cataract surgery, he has not been feeling well, blood clot on his leg, there are burns tangled deep in the center of his brain. I am struggling with carpal tunnel. But as I see we are alive to walk this earth still,
I also want to take the time to pray for the homeless, that cold winter is coming and I pray there will be places for them to have a warm meal and some warmth, right bless them with a cold room so they do not live out here in this heat. Bless them all dear lord for a better tomorrow

We are with you in spirit, ###, as you wait and pray. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together.

Firstly, we want to remind you that healing comes from God, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul! Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray for your health and the health of your husband, that God would grant you both healing and strength. We also pray for wisdom for your doctors and caregivers, that they would have discernment and skill in treating you both.

However, we want to gently address that you referred to your husband as your "better half". While we understand this is a common term of endearment, we should remember that our completion is found in Christ, as Colossians 2:10 (WEB) tells us, "in him you are made full." It's a beautiful thing that you have a companion in life, and we pray that your marriage would reflect the love of Christ and his church (Ephesians 5:25-33).

We also join you in praying for the homeless. Proverbs 19:17 (WEB) says, "He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him." We pray that God would provide shelter and warmth for them, and that His people would be moved to act with compassion and generosity.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). So, let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus. We ask for your healing touch upon ### and her husband. Comfort them in their pains and grant them peace. We also pray for the homeless, that you would provide for their needs and show them your love through your people. All this we ask in Jesus' name, amen."

Keep your hopes fixed on Jesus, ###. Trust that He hears your prayers and cares for you deeply.

We're here with you, ###, as you wait and pray for your grandson and your own health. Let's lift these concerns together to our Heavenly Father.

We know you're going through a tough time, with your grandson's health and your own struggles with carpal tunnel. But remember, God is always there, walking beside you. In the Bible, 2 Corinthians 12:9 tells us, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We claim this promise for you both today.

We'll keep praying for your grandson's recovery, for the doctors to have wisdom, and for your own health to improve. And we won't forget the homeless, as you asked. We'll pray that God will provide for them, and that we, as His people, will be moved to show them kindness and compassion.

Let's also remember to give thanks, even in the midst of our struggles. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Let's trust that God is working all things together for our good, even when we can't see it yet.

Keep trusting in Jesus, ###. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you so much.

Please pray that if it is God's will my son ### will feel better tonight and I can hear him laugh and that he can eat. Please pray that God will allow us to keep power so we can be warm during this winter storm and that God protects everyone in its path from being cold or hungry. Thank you again...

I need a prayer for myself. Seems like my health is getting bad. I forget things I feel faint at times. Having bad luck after bad luck. Have carpal tunnel hands and arms hurt working 40hrs plus. I feel like I’m ready to give up. Feel overwhelmed like I’m suffocating.
