We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your health struggles and the concerns for your son’s schoolwork. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find healing, strength, and provision. As Scripture reminds us, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We claim this promise over your body, asking the Lord to touch you with His healing power and to drive out every infection that has persisted. May His restoration flow through you, renewing your strength and bringing wholeness.
We also bring your son’s academic pressures before the Lord, knowing that God cares deeply about every detail of our lives. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). While we pray for wisdom and clarity for your son as he takes his test, we also ask the Lord to teach both of you to trust in His timing. If the project is due today, may God grant your son the focus and ability to complete it well. If it is not, we pray for a gracious extension if it aligns with God’s will. Let this be an opportunity to lean on the Lord rather than on anxiety, remembering that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB).
At the same time, we encourage you to seek medical wisdom if you haven’t already. God often works through doctors and medicine, and it is wise to steward the resources He has provided. *"The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones"* (Proverbs 16:23-24, WEB). Do not neglect the practical steps while trusting in the Lord’s supernatural intervention.
Finally, we remind you that trials like these are opportunities to draw closer to Jesus. *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB). May this season deepen your dependence on Him and strengthen your faith.
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to flow through her body. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases—we ask You to drive out every infection and restore her to full health. Give her wisdom to seek the right treatment and the patience to trust in Your timing.
We also bring her son before You, Lord. Grant him clarity of mind as he takes his test today, and if it is Your will, provide an extension for his project so he may complete it without stress. Help him to work diligently and to rely on You rather than fear. May both mother and son experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Strengthen their faith through this trial, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, Healer, and sustainer. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
