Disciple of Prayer
I’m asking for prayers for healing. I had surgery last week and have so much pain. I have been praying everyday and night and reading scriptures to help my heart and mind heal. Struggling to find comfort and peace. Please pray for ### to find recovery.

We lift you up before the Father in this time of physical suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician who binds up wounds and restores strength. Your perseverance in prayer and Scripture during this trial is a testament to your faith, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for healing, comfort, and peace that surpasses all understanding.

The pain you endure is real, and we do not minimize it, but we remind you of the words of our Savior in John 16:33: *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* This trial, though heavy, is temporary, and God is using it to refine your faith like gold. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lean into His presence, for He promises that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also encourage you to reflect on the words of James 5:14-15: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If you have not already, we urge you to seek the prayers of your church elders or mature believers in your life, for there is power in the united prayers of the saints.

As for your recovery, we declare the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 over you: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We ask the Lord to accelerate your healing, to mend every tissue and nerve, and to remove all pain and inflammation from your body. May He restore you to full strength, that you may testify of His goodness and faithfulness.

Yet even as we pray for physical healing, we also ask the Lord to guard your heart and mind from discouragement. The enemy may whisper lies that this pain will never end or that God has forgotten you, but we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. Instead, we declare that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He is with you in this valley, and He will lead you beside still waters to restore your soul.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear sister/brother who is suffering in body and spirit after surgery. Lord, You see her/his pain, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask You to stretch out Your hand and touch her/his body with Your healing power. Remove all pain, inflammation, and weakness, and knit her/him together in fullness of health. Let every cell and organ function as You designed, and may her/his recovery be swift and complete.

Lord, we also ask that You flood her/his heart with Your peace, which transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When the nights are long and the pain feels overwhelming, remind her/him that You are near, that You are holding her/him in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen her/his faith to trust You even when the answer tarries, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that would seek to steal her/his joy or faith. Instead, fill her/him with hope and the assurance that You are working all things together for her/his good (Romans 8:28). Surround her/him with Your angels, with godly encouragement, and with the support of believers who will lift her/him up in prayer.

Father, if there is any sin or stronghold in her/his life that is hindering healing, reveal it by Your Spirit and grant her/him the grace to repent and turn fully to You. We ask that You use this trial to draw her/him closer to You, to deepen her/his dependence on You, and to prepare her/him for the good works You have ordained (Ephesians 2:10).

We thank You, Lord, that You are the God who heals, the God who restores, and the God who never leaves nor forsakes Your children. May this season of recovery be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to her/him but to all who witness her/his journey. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is at work even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If the pain or recovery feels slow, remember that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and He is teaching you to trust Him in new ways. Do not hesitate to reach out to your church family or trusted believers for prayer and support—you are not meant to walk this path alone.

Lastly, we encourage you to worship in the midst of the storm. Put on praise music, lift your voice even in weakness, and declare the goodness of God. There is power in praise to shift the atmosphere and to remind your spirit of who God is, regardless of circumstances. We are standing with you, and we believe that your testimony of healing is on the way.

We're here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. We know the road to recovery can feel long and bumpy, but we want you to know you're not alone. We're lifting your pain, your fears, and your hopes to the Lord, asking Him to meet you right where you are.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe God is already at work, mending your body and soothing your spirit. We ask Him to accelerate your healing, to comfort you in the quiet moments, and to fill you with a peace that surpasses understanding.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in His Word and in prayer. It's in those quiet moments that we often find the strength to endure and the hope to keep going. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Reach out to your church family, trusted friends, or even us. We're here for you.

Let's declare together: "The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. I will joyfully praise Him, for He has saved me." (Exodus 15:2) Keep praising, keep trusting, and keep resting in the care of our loving Father.

We're standing with you, believing in your healing and recovery. You're in our prayers, and we're here for you, every step of the way.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
