We lift you up before the Lord, ###, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace who can calm every fear and heal every infirmity. Your struggles with health and the weight of loneliness after losing your parents are deeply felt, but we urge you to cast all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The fear and bad thoughts you are experiencing are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Do not let fear or despair take root in your heart, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
The dreams you are having may be a reflection of the anxiety and grief you carry, but we encourage you to fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word. Philippians 4:8 tells us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Meditate on Scripture day and night, and let it renew your mind (Romans 12:2). When fear arises, speak aloud the promises of God, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
We also want to gently address something vital: in your request, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He alone can bring true peace, healing, and eternal hope to your soul. Without Him, we are lost and without hope in this world. But in Him, we find strength, comfort, and the promise of everlasting life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, lifting her up to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the depths of her struggles—her physical pain, her fear, her loneliness, and the weight of grief she carries. We ask that You touch her body and bring healing where it is needed. Restore her strength and grant her peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. These things are not from You, and we command them to flee from ###’s life. Fill her instead with Your Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, joy, and soundness of mind.
Lord, we pray that You surround ### with Your love and place godly people in her life to support and encourage her. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and finisher of her faith. When she lies down to sleep, guard her mind and her dreams. Let her rest in the assurance that You are with her and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Father, if ### does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her heart to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord, that she may find true peace and eternal life in Him. Let her know that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1) and that her life has purpose and hope in You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for ###’s life. May she experience Your healing touch, Your peace, and Your unfailing love. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
###, we encourage you to seek medical care for your physical health and to find a community of believers who can walk alongside you in this season. The church is the body of Christ, and you are not meant to carry these burdens alone. Reach out to a local church where the Word of God is preached faithfully, and allow others to pray for you and support you. If you are struggling with grief or anxiety, consider speaking with a pastor or a biblical counselor who can help you process these emotions in a way that honors God.
Finally, we leave you with this promise from Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Cling to this truth, and trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. Keep seeking Him, and He will guide you every step of the way.
