We are truly heartbroken to hear about your circumstances and commend you for reaching out. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.
Firstly, we acknowledge your pain and the injustice done to you. It is evident that you have been through tremendous trauma. We are called to carry each other's burdens in Galatians 6:2 WEB. We want to lift you up in prayer and ask God for His healing and comfort. We need to remember the words of Isaiah, He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on Him and by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:3,5 WEB.
It is commendable that you have a desire to help others despite your pain. This is a testament to the love of Christ within you, pray Psalm 147:3 WEB. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
However, we want to caution you about harboring memories of what others did to you. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We understand that this is easier said than done, but it is necessary for your healing and peace. You can ask the Holy Spirit to help you forgive Romans 12:19 WEB. Do not seek revenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Regarding your former wife, we must remember that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16 WEB. We are not excusing her actions, but we encourage you not to harbor bitterness and to pray for her. Remember, love never fails 1 Corinthians 13:8 WEB.
We applaud your efforts to learn programming and seek employment. Remember, God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound to every good work 2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB. Trust Him and lean on Him for strength and wisdom.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in his time of need. Lord, You know his pain, his struggles, and his heart's desires. We ask, Father, that You would heal his broken heart, comfort him and remove any bitterness. Help him to forgive those who have wronged him, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Lord as the wounds heal, we pray that he will be able to contact a Christian counselor and helpful Christian counsel to help him learn to trust again. We ask that You would guide him in his endeavors to learn programming and find meaningful employment. Give him the strength to make it through each day, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus Christ name we pray.
Lastly, stay strong and be encouraged by these words in Zephaniah 3:17 WEB, Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.
For your prayer, you did not forget to ask for these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We commend you for this. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
